Looks a bit like a Terminator...

Are the figures identical for Prime and Bumblebee (bar clip on armour and the like), or are the 'protoforms' different?

I'm more interested in Bumblebee, and would be all the more if the figure were different.

Ah, but what does it matter if it's the same as another figure you don't want? ;)

Would imagine the two are different unless they both fold up for the vehicle modes identically.

Concept was better than the execution, from the looks of Prime.

Trouble is, I really don't like the design of Prime's Protoform.

I really want that trans scanning prime, his bot mode and alt mode look amazing (as long as the kibble is taken off)

Right, I have the trans-scanning Optimus now.

It's a fragile little piece of junk. The ankle pins were drilled at the wrong angle, so its left foot snapped off. I've got it fixed now, but that's beside the point.

Also, it came without instructions, despite being sealed. GO TAKARA!

I want to like this thing since it's such a neat idea, but I don't think it's going to happen. :eyebrow:

Takara's quality control really is absolutley shocking, isn't it? :(

Tak spent their money on security, that's why less takara prototypes/test shots are out there. There's no money left for QC ;) . It still is ***ing bad QC, i grant you.

I'm getting too many responses in a certain fashion from users, so anything i tag with this, ;), should be taken as sarcasm.

That debate would best be left in the thread in which it is currently ongoing, rather than dragging it across the board if you don't mind.
