Nifty.

At €20 (£15.60 / ~$30), including postage to UK, it could be worse!

I wonder if I can justify...

:\

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

Is this the one that was given as a promo if you bought the car?

Supposedly, yes, but we never even got a solid confirmation of that.

This is the first real official solid availability of the toy.

I've placed an order - it always did look nifty.

They are backordered at present ('a few extra days' to quote the site). Hope they do turn up...

Looked into getting one but cost to ship to the US was getting absurd. There is a € 35 administration and cost fee. Too rich for me. Hopefully, they'll make him available in the US.
We want to inform you that the cost and administration fee of € 35,00 will be charged to your credit card at the time of shipping. Charges for brokerage and duty (assessed by your government) will be collected at the time of delivery (we cannot give any estimates for these charges). These additional charges are often higher than the value of the ordered merchandise. Your freight will be based on the actual weight and dimensions of the box used for your order. Due to custom restrictions, product CANNOT be returned.

Thanks, Zeeks! Great job!

Swerve

Post by Springer145 »

I'm sure I'm just missing something, but the name is officially Swerve right? I just didn't see the name on the Chevy page. Either way, it definitely brings back memories as Swerve was my very first Transformer...I have a hard time seeing a metalurgist as an Aveo though ;)

Is it just me, or does he bear a resemblance to MOV Swindle?

In so much as they're both red?

:eyebrow:

Swerve looks to me to be a bit more traditional, and is certainly bulkier around the leg department.

To me, there car modes look similar, and the doors are near/on the arms on both figures.

Yeah. I thought he was just a remold of Swindle when I first saw him, but he's got much better articulation and looks better overall.

Swerve seems to have been pulled from the site.

I don't know what that'll mean for filling orders.

Good to see he is shipping.

I've sent an e-mail asking about status of my order, which has yet to be shipped, so I'll see what they say there.

Got mine through in the post yesterday (although Chevy still haven't updated my order details to say it's shipped, nor replied to my query...).

Not had a chance to open and what-not yet, but certainly looks nifty.

Had a chance to play around with him now.

I don't have Movie Swindle, so can't comment on any potential similarites (or lack of), but his overall transformation scheme resembles that of '08 Bumblebee, although simplified and lacking any Automorph (thankfully!). There are a few differences, of course - notably, the legs transformation mechanism is nifty, and the front wheels are incorporated nicely into the torso design. The fellow's well articulated and bulky at the same time, and has good light piping.

I would suggest that nobody attempt to follow the instructions - they are some of the worst in a while, and are more likely to result in a broken Swerve than robot mode.

He comes in around 1/32 scale.
