Wow, this is news. Hmm. ANOTHER new storyline? Well, if it's a U.S.-made cartoon, at least maybe we won't have more annoying-ass kids and weirdly-paced dialogue...

Oh, wait - U.S. cartoons gave us Spike and Daniel  Well, maybe more natural dialogue, anyway?

Spike, annoying? I'd say that to this day, G1 human characters (except Daniel, and ignoring the Japanese cartoons) are the best ones in ANY continuity.

Anyway, US-made cartoon means no more "GIMMICK - CATCHPHRASE!"-kind of dialogue, that's for sure. And no more everyone calling Prime "Supreme Commander". Call him Prime for chrissakes.

Yeah, to be fair, Spike's really not that bad. A little "Oh, gosh, gee, Optimus," at times, but it was unkind of me to put him in the same breath with Daniel. I guess I just like picking on the kid, as in my "Robots in Disguises" humorfic (I believe it's on the second page of the Creative forum at this point).

Are you guys kidding?

Who can forget the episode where Spike gets put into the 'Robot Frankenstein', aah, good times!

This new series of Transformers sounds really odd, but to be fair, I never had the chance to watch the other new series. (Watching Episode 01 of Robots in Disguise scared me, I was so confused!)

Daniel in HEADMASTERS was the best.I'm surprised he didn't have an emotional breakdown after crying over so many dead autobots.....

When Autobots were dying in Desertion of the Dinobots, Spike took off to Cybertron.

Whenever something similar happens in a Japan-made TF show, the token human kid bangs his fists into the floor, cries for hours and does absolutely nothing to actually, you know, HELP.

Personally, I hope a US-made cartoon will result in grittier themes. I mean, I'm tired of mankind being portrayed always so perfect and flawless. G1 cartoon actually had human villains every once in a while.

There was always that one moment the Spike and Daniel had superhuman strenght. Like when Spike held down a Quintesson by one of its tenitacles, and Daniel holding and shoting a ransformer gun.

Spike was still pretty ****ing annoying, let's be honest.

Buster's the way to go. He got frozen and went quietly mad off-panel.

Bring back LAZAR0S!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, isn't it a wonderful surprise to find this series is up for release just after the new movie. Guess none of us thought this would happen...

Brandcon/Batman has been so proven not to be cyncial, neh?

All we have to wait for is the UK issue of this, but those of you in the USofA will no doubt tell us if it's a hit or a screaming nosediver. And you'll discuss it, annoying us Brits even more. C'est la vie!

Well, he was the guy two years below me in school. Who's brother also had the name of his TV namesakes brother. I suspect the family may well have been Trekies.

Was that a fresh little **** in Zone?

Spike, on the other hand, wasn't whiny at all... He was stupid and irritating, but mainly because he was so moronically happy with being stuck on the front line of a war between giant alien robots.

There was two young boys who's relationship would give the peeps who don't kike Transformers Kiss a heart attack.

Chip was just pretending. He could get up from his wheelchair just fine in "The Autobot Run".

Also, he could rip a floppy disk apart with his bare hands in "Roll for It".
