Livingston in Liquidation

No real shock.

Just wonder how many other Scottish clubs are going to go to the wall this year. My hometown club isn't too healthy cash wise at the moment and hasn't been for a while.

Class of 1984

http://www.pixel-cel.com/files/Class-of-1984.jpg This is going to be the back cover of the TMUK magazine available at Auto Assembly this year. It's a jam piece with art from the following folks: Matt Marshall, Martin McVay, Elliot Hopkins, Gav Spence, Mark Stevenson, Tony Baker, Kev Hagan, Nigel Ma...

I enjoyed this issue and Mike Costa seemed to have a good handle on Starscream. I wish Chee's art had been in black and white though. Looked really good.

Rodimus based on his very first appearance in the Marvel UK comic. If only he hadn't become so very, very pish soon after. Grimlock gets the nod for actually repairing the Ark, getting a decent source of energy on Earth and repairing all of the injured. Points off for personal vendettas, and getting...

I know the two stories are pretty crap but it's worth getting the Time Flight/Arc of Infinity just to here Janet Fielding take Saward to task and quite splendidly rip the piss out of him. Levine is an absolute piece of work. You only need to look at the crap he posted on OG or even the Restoration T...

Good lord that was turgid. I remember Airboy from a few comics I had years ago. That is one of the worst crossover type books I've read.

I'm hoping that they turn round and ask Alan Davis to end up doing any art for the new Marvelman stuff. Given that's he is exclusive to Marvel and they don't seem to have him on a regular title he'd be a perfect fit. Don't tempt fate with mentioning the Loeb/Land combo, that would make me sick to my...

Glad to see the back of Shane McCarthy given how dreadful AHM was. Chuffed that Nick has the Wrecker's book and looking forward to it.

Mike Costa might make a decent fist of the ongoing, what I've read of his has been pretty good.

Looks like they are going back to the classic logo as well.

I wonder what will happen if they fold MM into the mainstream Marvel Universe. It might be a good thing as it would make The Sentry redundant and we'd see the character vanish!

At his Cup of Joe panel Joe Quesada has confirmed that Marvel have bought the rights to Marvelman.

Looks like those reprints are on their way!!!

Although bizarrely GoBots seemed to be on air in the UK longer than Transformers. I dare say it was cheaper to buy the rights to.

Not a favourite even as a kid, although I have developed a drunken fondness for the Rock Lords film.

The Authority one does have one good thing in it. The fact that the two teams never actually meet as such. It's a refreshing two fingers up at the traditional superhero crossover book. The art is good from Jiminez though. The JLA book is a bit odd, I like Jerry Ordway's art but he's not a good fit f...

I have the original crossover editions anyway, it's why I never bothered.

The art on the Batman crossover is good, and the fact that DC tinkered with the Adam West section to remove eyes of the character always puzzled me.

You might get a reprint of the first absolute ahead of the second one (if they do one, which I'm pretty sure they will).

I don't think they will do one giant absolute though.

I'll get the issue and then the HC when it comes out and who knows I may even pick up the crossover trade finally.

They'll do a hardcover given that the first three volumes also had Hardcovers. The only collection that didn't get a trade was the crossovers volume.

Probably will do a second Absolute as well down the line.

I'm hopeful that it gets resolved, but the show has a budget and unless the actors accept it chances are they will be recast.

Owen to Man U is a good idea. He couldn't have went to a smaller Premier League side as they would need him to play thirty plus games, which given his recent fitness/injury woes would be difficult. At Man U he'll get a good run of games and be rested when needed and probably bang in twenty goals in ...
