i'm disappointed hasbro wont sanction a release of season 3. is it going to be like this for all future tf cartoon releases to dvd / blu-ray ? i'm sure animated's non-showing is down to sales and a lack of support at retail, but it'd be nice to have it, nonetheless (you hear that hasbro? i want to g...

I was tempted by a couple (today's seemed to have Storm Shadow with it), but couldn't be arsed with the yomp into town after work to get them... Might get Sparrow when Smiths staff inevitably list billions of them on ebay for 50p, though. The tractor in the last lot was ****ing awesome, mind. Shame...

A little bit off topic, but what the heck. In the UK we have another Lego giveaway with our fabulous tabloid press. So far we've had a tiny X-Wing, Captain Jack Sparrow in a dingy with a bottle of booze, a tiny replica of the Black Pearl and today a Ninjago 'glider' (in reality a Ninja with a load o...

'The Doctor's Wife'. heh, who else could it be apart from the TARDIS herself? A really lovely episode and probably my favourite so far out of the new series. I really enjoyed seeing the Tardis made flesh and her relationship with The Doctor. I also enjoyed the playful tinkering with some of the esta...

Second shout out for the Motorvators here. I have lovely minty boxed versions, and i love getting these guys down whenever I'm feeling Transformers has totally lost it. They are huge, simplistic colourful bricks, but I loves them. They came with a really nice painted battle scene on the back of the ...

I enjoyed the ep. There were some bits that didn't hang together so well, but I loved the scene where the Doctor calls Hugh Bonneville on what his piratey ways have cost him and where it will all end (would his behaviour change as a space pirate..?), as well as Amy doing piratey stuff. Rory being ki...

Just got done with Destiny Of The Daleks. And what a chore that was. Underneath the ridiculous disco Movellans, the tired looking Daleks and a deflated Davros, there's a good story trying to get out. The Dlaeks using captured humans to tunnel into their city to retrieve Davros to help break the stal...

I am very much enjoying Game Of Thrones. Utterly unfamiliar with the books, so no idea how it stands but i am enjoying the slow and careful plotting and the leads are all likeable and engaging. Sean Bean's character looks like he's out of his depth with that nest of vipers that he's thrown his lot i...

I really really loved these two epsidoes. that finale was...unexpected! Amy's baby...hmm. I wonder if the silence were using her as a surrogate...and what their ultimate aim was and how it involved that proto-Tardis that we previously saw in 'The Lodger'..so many questions and no easy answers, parti...

i drink tea, watch Doctor Who don't play football and wont be watching the wedding. i wont mind catching it on the news, but i can just imagine how horrific the whole spectacle will be in the age of rolling 24 hour news coverage. it will basically consist of an hour's worth of interest padded out by...

I didn't really 'feel' the Doctor's death either. It just seemed like the Doctor was walking to his death. It lacked any emotional punch, but I did like how it's now changed the relationship between the Doctor and his companions. I hope River isn't in the space suit too. i don't like neat tie ins li...
