Wow. I expected something from news like this. Cracks in various temporal foundations and such. I guess that stuff really IS science fiction. I feel I've been lied to... Congrats to the both of you. I was going to ask what Ideon said when you DIDN'T ask him. But you're still here, so it couldn't hav...

Not really. Could just be small ladders designed to help them get on the top of the truck. But now that it's mentioned, they could be a series of tail lights, too.

So, yeah. I'm about where you guys are...

Totally recommend Long Haul. He does have a bit of an issue with his upper and lower halves pegging securely, but he still looks great and monstrous in bot mode. I don't think you'd be disappointed if you got him.

(Don't have Mixmaster myself, so I doubt my comments would be helpful.

It's a real shame, isn't it? I was kinda hoping his appearance in RotF would somehow lead to one coming out, but no, we get the bloody plane Prime jumps out of at the start, don't we? Bloody geniuses this lot. I was hoping the same thing. Though I was fearing a repaint/reissue was all he'd get. Of ...

It's been known to happen. I ended up getting a complete Thunderwing (for a STEAL of $45.00) after reading him in the comics years ago. Recently, the ROTF multiplayer mode sold me on getting a Sideways and painting up his red parts, even though I was holding off to get the Dead End version. (I ended...

I would just recommend taking the forearms apart and getting the swords out of there. You can indeed do so without much fuss. Personally, I plan on working at the posts--cutting them down and making something I can attach to Prime's arms like accessories. But seriously, without the swords getting in...

Yes. At the very least, a Voyager. It's funny, because I ended up buying this guy because of how he looked in the movie. And while he doesn't look...er...THAT bad (I've mentioned the arms elsewhere) scale can certainly make for great improvements. Most of this was inspired by the sheer awesomeness t...

I think it's fluctuating around 1.55-ish right now. (Bank manager had her kids come back from the U.K. and was exchanging currency) And I dunno, I can't say I personally prefer my TFs Cloverfieldish. (nothing wrong with that monster/movie) The particular drawback I had were his arms..they were way t...

I'd just realized I hadn't posted this here. Awesome, that's what I'm after, if I can find one at a decent price... Probably going to skip Prime - I'd have to buy Megatron, Starscream and Grindor as well... While I understand that dilemma, you really should try to pick one up at some point. I'm sure your willpower will prevent the other purch...

Yeah, he's way up there in size. But he is the best match for Movie Prime. They really went out of their way to redesign the guy to make him look just like his on-screen counterpart. I had no intentions of getting one at first ("Too Many Primes" syndrome), but I caved and bought him. He re...

Well, it's not even that, really. It's the fact that the robots look horrendous. And it isn't because of the character they're trying to convey. Their designs are severely lacking. The Marvel crossovers are doing the same thing, but a lot of their toys are pretty solid regarding articulation and pro...

No complaints here! I think buying for investment's a risky enough proposition with this crowd... Agreed. While I can understand it being collectible, and I have found myself looking at Ebay to see what a City Commander set is going for, I also understand the chances of me selling mine at any point...

You say "yes." You always say yes. As quickly as you can. As soon as you know that's where she's going. Hell, if you can cut her off somewhere in the segment of "saying I'm," do so. They want to hear it so bad, give it to 'em. Just do it with a face that they can't tell is being ...

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very good story, and very nice visually considering they made it for $30,000,000. I brought a friend of mine, and the funny thing was whenever there was some kind of alien gore, she'd turn her head. But when people blew up she seemed pretty enthused. Not sure how to take tha...

Long Haul, absolutely. Granted, I took the extra step of touching him up paint-wise, but just as he is he's a great toy.

Seriously, look at that face. Can you honestly say no to that face?

(you'll have to paint the teeth on yours though...)

ROTF Rampage

Nothing real fancy, but I got Long Haul done and decided to try the smoke-spray effect with Rampage. (Tamiya "Smoke" PS-31) Worked pretty nicely on his bright sand-yellow coloring. Ended up giving him a few added details as well, though not as many. Although I ended up doing the elbow-mod ...
