I use the Marvel Comics iPhone app. It runs really well, is available for android as well and has regular sales. Comixology have a bunch of apps for other publishers and even their own app where you can download any comics available through any comixology app. Price wise though, Marvel Unlimited loo...

I personally like Tokyo Jungle. It's not all that technically impressive, and it's an odd little game, but I like it for that reason. Not sure it'd be your kind of thing, but you might want to check out some reviews/youtube footage.

The character designs in Skylanders are really cool. My nephew is quite into it, as I think I may have mentioned before. Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon looks really good, and different, so that might be worth a look. It's only about 15 dollars, too. Interesting to hear you guys hate the PS controller though...

I dont know, is it a pipedream? yep! is it impossible, nope! Don't see why it should be a pipedream, to be honest. The way you explain it makes perfect sense and making it so everyone has a more involving avatar would get people more involved. Even fairly limited skins would be a good step. Maybe i...

Well, I already have Uncharted courtesy of PS+, just need the Vita to play it on. Also the Metal Gear collection, FFIX, and some other stuff. When I finally get one (Just bought a new sofa bed so might have to wait a few months) I'll get at least one of the disgaea games and the One Piece Kaizoku Mu...

Nah, I appreciate the input. What about that other one with the prothean teammate? It doesn't come as standard with the PS3 trilogy. Incidentally, on this playthrough I decided not to bother with DLC apart from the extended cut. I want to do a playthrough with a female Shepard and probably one as a ...

Gears of Warfighter: Ascension Duty 3.
The reason I don't bother buying new triple A games anymore.

Had a little play of Lord of the Rings: War in the North today. One of this month's PS+ games. It's fairly inoffensive. Entertaining enough, would have been triple A in the PS2 generation.

Gotten myself ridiculously into the Mass Effect games, even if 3 is a little bit generic shootery. Debating whether (or rather which) DLC to buy. Citadel is a lock but I'm not sure if the other stuff is worth my time/money.

For me im a console gamer to the core cant stand mouse and keyboard. id rather take the hit in the looks department for comfort and reliability. I'm basically the same, but most PC games seem to have decent controller functionality these days. And im not ashamed to admit it but im a diehard microso...

I'm not sold on the next gen consoles yet. So far all I'm seeing is prettier versions of the same old. As there are still plenty of games from this generation I want to play, I'm happy to wait it out until I see something more interesting. Also, based on promtional nonsense alone, it's impossible to...

I haven't had ostrich in ages. It'd make good lasagne.

I mostly have pretty terrifying dreams that end with me waking because my heart is beating out of my chest. I'm liable to give myself a heart attack one of these days.

Looks like the only console that hasn't confirmed that you'll be able to play used games is the Xbox, but they'll probably have to fall in line now. Choosing to be the only console of the generation which doesn't play used software would be financial suicide.

If you go to an employment agency willing to do absolutely anything and your English and computing skills are good enough then you've got as good a chance of getting on your feet as anywhere else. Reed is one of the bigger general office work agencies, they'd be worth a try. You'll have to do the de...

That's irrelevant, it's still your choices that put you there. You didn't have to be working for a company struggling economically in a foreign country and you didn't elaborate on what you did to change your circumstance but blame the company all you want or the world economy for being shit, but I'...

Dang, man, I think we're moving off topic. I know the US of A is a fun country to talk about but, ah, screw it, it is fun to talk about;) It's actually not off-topic at all, America is the most famous and "pure" example of a democracy with a left and right, and no monarchy, so it actually...

To be fair, the difference is mostly built on faffing. If you study economics or politics for a couple of years you'll get a basic understanding. Or in the absolute idiot's guide version, left places more responsibility on government (which in this political ideal puts responsibility on society by e...

To be fair, if the combat controls are tightened up I can stand losing some of the RPG elements. I was already least excited about 3, oddly enough.

I still love gamecube games. For me it was the tipping point between the more basic games I grew up with and the big budget spectacle of modern gaming. A lot of those games stand up so well and if have a gamecube and haven't played Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, have a word with yourself. Oh, M...

Well said. It's not often said but I think most of us really appreciate the work you guys do in the day to day, not just when the big stuff like this happens. For a lot of us this has been an online home long enough to make us feel old and a place where genuine friendships have been built. Erm, sorr...
