Whilst the show itself was lacking left right and centre (no thanks o the 4Kids redub and re-edits) the majority of the figures kicked the crap outta anything we had seen at that point. Fire Convoy is still the highlight of that set for me. However, there was a PVC Staue set if Convoy, Sky-Byte and ...

[quote="Cliffjumper"]Early Image had loads of really great, utterly awful names in it, mainly on the villains (though Stormwatch landed a few beauts, like Blade-Master, Damascus and Lancer). Can you see someone sitting down and selecting those as their codename? "Hmm, I use these blad...

Internet Comics: Just laughed so much it hurts...

(Not sure if this should be somewhere else) You know when you find something so funny, you end making odd noises and find breathing difficult? (be warned, slightly....wrong...) http://www.vgcats.com/comics/images/040623.jpg http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=193 between that and Looking For Grou...

Does anyone remember the vaguely similar one they had on a few years back I think it was on ITV where they al got stuck in a tunnel in a train on the way to sheffield and got accidentally cryogenically frozen or something. The Last Train? It was really good for it's time, but has dated horribly in ...

Just picked up the Mini-con pack from Woolworths. Twas half price, and I do like my Mini-cons. It's not bad at half-price, but I wouldn't have paid full for it.

Or the 50 quid amazon has them for..

And I would die for a decent Bludgeon homage I've often maintained that the Armada Megatron with the Enegon Starscream's sword reainted and molded with a skull face would rock!

I agree:

Much like Armada Red Alert. Was always sure he was wearing the van.

*shrug* I thought Beast Machines was neat, after being disinterested in Beast Wars. And I like the idea of a Cybertron that was natural/organic in origin; for me it beats the heck out of Primus!Cybertron, but hey, individual mileage may vary. :) I enjoyed once I'd got past the "what the hell&q...

Wreck-Gar. In denim. Due to the Facial hair and the fact neither of us stop talking rubbish.

And I'd even go for the Animated.

Isn't it his Skull that everyone remembers? or at least his marvel incarnation.

I'm not sure you could. Even with the leaps in toy making since the 80's, the Shell would still have to hold the inside figure and sacrifices would have to be made to both to make it work.

I think the Movie toys are pretty close to Transtech, actually. Especially the ones that don't have earth modes (Megatron, the Protoform Prime and Starscream). Very true, the design asthetics are very similar, but I was meaning a couple of the old Draxhall Jump designs making it into Universe. Look...

I stopped a while back, both with WWE and TNA. Even the new games just don't intrest me anymore. Which is a massive shame considering how much I used to love Wrasslin'. For me, it all died with the demise of Wrestling Society X.

Gods.... It's so dull now. But Brock Lesnar is the UFC champ!

I actually much prefer the work mode version. I've always found the full robot mode to be far too lanky. Unless it's THAT Fortress Maximus kitbash. Then it's awesome.

I'm really liking that! The prowl I can take or leave, but I WILL be picking up Waspinator. I've been toying the idea of using the Animated figures as Pretenders (much like the movie line became Heralds of Unicron) and this has clinched it for me.
