For my twopence, the ageing issue with Transformers is pretty much down to personal taste since there’s plenty of evidence pointing to both ageing and immortality. Since they have very human personalities, I’d be apt to go with the view that mortality is a very real fear for Transformers. Practicall...

I don’t want to get Concept Guy in trouble, but seeing as he was happy to tell a complete stranger at a convention, I guess it’s no biggie. Apologies if much of this is already known. Two strands of info – movie 1 and movie 2: Concept Guy said he saw a cut of Movie 1 that ran to 3 hours. He also saw...

Agree on the Megatron story - fairly throwaway and basically just a setup for the interlinked stories coming up. I picked up #3 at the London Film and Comic Con and while the story is interesting, Wildman's Art is a little bland. Furman himself was kind enough to give me some advice on breaking into...

Do you remember which Woolies in London? Clapham, Balham and Tooting still haven't had any Deluxe class figures other than the protoforms.

It's a really awful magazine to be honest. The non-comic content is just kid friendly nonsense, while the various snippets of US strips jar badly with each other and the home grown stuff. I have nothing against either the Official Prequel strip or the Beast Wars material printed here, but their butc...

Great art, although I'm so used to seeing flat colouring on Senior's work that this seems 'off' at first.

Only nitpick - if this is pre-movie, I guess they've forgotten about pre-earth and protoform modes already...

The ToyStop in Putney has Leader class Prime and Megs, along with all the movie toys already spotted in Woolies and Argos. I didn't expect to see Megs so early - he has the same 'try me' featire as Prime - a slider on the chest that activates lights and sound.

The Woolworths in Balham, South London now has wave 1 Deluxe Classics at £9.99. I haven't seen any Voyagers around here yet though. The still have a few Cybertron Basics and a couple of the big Cybertron Prime's.

That's beautiful. Most of my exposure to Roche's art is through his covers, and they seem to be getting better and better. A good mix of detail and expressiveness, and reminiscent of Geoff Senior's work, especially the "Galvatron stomps through flaming forest" scenes in the UK comics Wante...

Hello everyone, long time lurker/first time poster. I just wanted to add that I picked up Cyb Unicron from Amazon this week, and recommend it. I think the sculpt is excellent, with great detailing, posability and an inventive transformation. The tank mode definitely has shades of the Beast Machines ...
