Name: Brawn Function: Brawn Subgroup: Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Vehicles There's nothing Brawn loves more than a challenge. Luckily, working with the N.E.S.T. Global Alliance gives him plenty of opportunities to show his strength. He has a new assignment: track down the Decepticon strong-bot Ram...

There's never an excuse for shit writing. There are plenty of reasons (ineptitude, IDW, etc.), but no excuses. Then, if you'd like, the reason Arcee is a faux action girl is because she appears only once in the the first two seasons as part of a flashback where she has already been injured and make...

Sadly, in TFA, Arcee is still a faux Action Girl, then again, she is a very minor character, so perhaps excusable. Glad to see her toy turned out well though, and it looks like they skipped the high heels! Now if I could just find her.

Name: Mindwipe Allegiance: Decepticon Function: Hypnotist Subgroup: RoTF Voyager Vehicles With the power to mesmerize other robots, Mindwipe might be a match even for Optimus Prime. The Matrix of Leadership renders the Autobot leader immune, but Mindwipe has a host of other robots totally under his...

That's a nice colour background. I wouldn't have thought that'd work but it does. And Mindwipe looks very articulated. I would've killed for that amount of articulation back in the 80's. To my mind Jetfire had the most poseability of all my Transformers but it looks like Mindwipe's got him beaten h...

Right-o. Back from the craft shop with some new poster board. Thought I'd try a dash of purple this time. All four as above + 5) Mr. Bates, I presume? That's a very cool figure, certainly one I've never seen in the shops...Always catches my interest to see obscure G1 names mixed in with the new one'...

I like the articulation idea. Maybe merge it with a general posability score? Things like balance, looseness/tightness, and movement obstructions could all fold in there. This whole thread is a good idea, actually. I know I tend to focus more on the content of the review rather than the scores, but ...

Very nice.

Also, the pronoun "I" should be capitalized (because we're all self-centered, egotistical twats I supposed). The review was very clean grammar-wise besides that.

As far as I know, neither series has been officially released with English subtitles. I'm actually not even sure if they've been released (on DVD/VHS) anywhere.

Its difficult, I did enjoy the episodic feel for the first and part of the second season, but the quality of them was lacking (yes, im bringing up the singing episode), and it needed to progress beyond that and become something alot more.. I'll agree that Dollhouse has generally been mediocre; howe...

I actually had completely the opposite reaction--really liking the episodic feel of the first and (most of) the second seasons. The last few episodes have really seemed like season 3 being crammed in at the last moment. Basically, everything after the thing with the Senator has really disappointed.

He is delightfully average, isn't he? Swindle's a case where the characterization on screen really adds a significant factor of enjoyment to the toy.

Fern Gully iiiiiiiinnnnn spaaaaaacccceeee... Thanks. :) I spent the entire film trying to remember 'Fern Gully'. Really need to see that again. Otherwise, I enjoyed the Avatar immensely. The story wasn't even a little bit new, yet everything was very well done. Particularly the 3D. Quite impressed ...

It's never felt like they really knew what to do with the show and it's never been stellar, unlike Firefly. I'll agree with you on both counts; however, what I found most interesting about Dollhouse were the rather poignant questions it raised about identity and the moral ambiguity of the concept o...
