Apart from the bit where Demolisher transforms and kills a bunch of NEST troops. FFS. We need a masonry drill here, stat... You mean the troops that are there to kill him first? They are both trying to kill each other and we are supposed to cheer these guys because they are NEST and boo the other g...

Sorting out the story between the two movies.

I'm trying to work out the basic framework for the story between the two movies themselves without the comics since The Fallen is portrayed differently. The other Primes hide the key to the harvester from him, so the harvester is useless to him so he forgets about that and concentrates on controllin...

Of course, there' still a search on for various Nazi's who escaped justice (though I believe there's recently been talk of winding it down as they're unlikely to complete the set at this point), if any more do turn up I can't see them being let of as mostly harmless old codgers. And the Fallen is H...

On the other hand, the nazi foot soldiers are limited by what weapons they can get their hands on and die pretty easily if they fall wrong. The Decepticons are weapons. I see that point. If they were heavily armed cyborg Nazi foot soldiers chilling in China they might just send in the Allied heavil...

That's like saying that because Neville Chamberlain once had a nice tea with Adolf Hitler the Fuhrer couldn't have killed all those Jews. You're not Bernie Ecclestone are you? Adolph Hitler (Megatron) died in the first movie. It would be like having a sequel to a WWII movie set two years later when...

Yes, those foolish film makers thinking the entirety of the first TF movie (seen by hardly anyone) would contain enough to convince people the Decepticons are not nice robots. In the first movie, Prime and Megatron were brothers and apparently co-rulers of Cybertron at one point. Then the Deceptico...

I think the Demolishor/Sideways problem is a storytelling problem. What were they doing in Shangahi? I still don't know. Decepticons are usually up to something, a master plan that must be stopped, no matter the cost. For all we, the audience know, their leader is dead and the All Spark is destroyed...

The Thirteen sacrophagi in the novel probably refer to protoform carriers or somesuch... there are 13 new Decepticons in the final battle, no? Oh yea. You're right. Later in the book it does say that. I thought having 13 sarcophagi was too much of a coincidence with Defiance but I guess that is all...

13 sarcophagi in ROTF novel.

There is a line in the Revenge of the Fallen novel adaptation that has me curious. It is when Megatron is first reanimated and flies to the Nemesis and is talking with Starscream. "Across from the two Decepticons, the covers of thirteen immense sarcophagi began to open." When I first read ...

Ball joints here and there are good for articulation of course, but sometimes it can be overdone when they are on lots of joints that aren't used for robot-mode articulation. I like a nice and neat "fold, fold, twist, fold...done" type of transformation. With a bunch of ball joints you are...

When did this happen? One thing I don't like about spotlights is having to guess. Edit: Nevermind. I found the editor's note on the inside cover. "Just prior to AHM #1." Sixshot is out of character showing a lot more finesse now instead of wanton planetary destruction. He sneaked onto the...

Prime: Neil Kaplan gives a lot of character to the voice while still sounding like a leader. David Kaye makes Optimus sound like an ordinary guy, which is what they were trying to get across for Animated I guess. Megatron: Frank Welker. Hugo Weaving was waaay off. Daniel Riordan in the film would ha...

Yes, random. ;) It's actually a bit funny that there's a segment of the fandom who see Sideways as a fully fleshed-out character. Because you bought his action figure two weeks before the movie? Meh... That's kind of traditional Transformers. You get the toy, find out what his character is like, th...

Maybe becasue the NEST squad, regiment, section, or whatever it is, isn't about taking over nations but protecting people from Cons. Also maybe the Chinese military could not handle the Cons. Question to those who say that the humans and Autobots should have capture the Cons: how are they suppost t...

Yea, I read the prequel novel and comics. The Autobots and NEST aren't really into taking prisoners. Stasis cuffs? Pffft! Who needs stasis cuffs? The formula went something like this. NEST discovers a group of Decepticons on Earth. They mobilize a team to go kill them. They could be mining for urani...

There isn't much that set the Constructicons apart as their own unit. They are just Decepticons that happened to scan construction vehicles? Nearly all the new Decepticons just happen to scan construction vehicles. It doesn't matter if they arrived in the beginning, middle, or end of the movie. It i...

While we're mentioning disappointments...here's something weird. Why is it, all of a sudden, all the transformers spit? Megs, Starscream, Prime, and Jetfire all let loose with mouth juice. Where'd that come from? Oh yeah...and because it can't be mentioned enough: Devestator's balls. You kno...

I went into the movie with pretty low expectations and I ended up liking it better than I thought I would. My biggest gripe is that all the super-cool Autobots (Sideswipe, Arcee, Ironhide, even Jolt) got bit parts so the super-crappy Autobots (Twins, Jetfire, Wheelie) could get more screen time. I a...

Jolt actually looks like one of the better toys. Major shellformer, though.
