Sadly because it isn't worth the media's time. They want a story, mainly negative, and it's all I really observed during this election: negative this, negative that. Where were the positives about the candidates, and hell, I am even blaming Bill O'Reilly, yup you heard it here folks lol. I've grown...

I picked up Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami at the bookstore just because I liked the title. I loved the story and the style so much it's now one of my favorite books and I've read almost everything else he's written. I always mean to read something by China Mievil...

^ I agree with this. Obama became a fad, whether he was the right choice or not. It's only a matter of time before his popularity fades away and everyone begins bashing him on late-night television. I really don't like this kind of statement, it's just as annoying as the "Republicans are all r...

Damn, I actually got tearful at his acceptance speech. I'm going to pin it on the better part of a bottle of wine that I've gone through tonight.

Mirage looking like he's about to toss energon cookies is the first thing that came to mind for me, too. I think there might be a rush to judgment based on the cover. The traitor could be out and it could be a fight over something else, or maybe Mirage was unwittingly the traitor, and just found out...

Honestly, when McCain was announced as the candidate, I felt like this would be an election where I could be happy with either outcome. As soon as the retarded zealot got on the ticket, that feeling changed. Everything about that choice seems like it was made by the Republican party and not McCain....

That and Transformers fans are a whining bunch of twats, too. Is it really just because of the "faceless corporation" thing? Not that I hang out in a lot of other fandoms, but it definitely seems like a good portion Transformers fans are ridiculously nitpicky for no reason other than a se...

I also don't think it hurt to have a few Spotlights that were aside from the ongoing story either. Certainly its not Klaus Scherwinski's (nor Roche, Strayton or Moore's) fault that Furman wasn't able to use the more than ample page count he was given in his Spotlights to tell it right whilst they w...

I dunno, sounds about par with every other simpering IDW letters page to me. Isn't that par for the course with comics though? I don't really read others, but I'd assume publishers would generally pick positive letters. The "everything that came before sucked" focus of AHM 4's letters was...

:(

However, it's the seeming insistence that AHM is some brave new world, and that those who dislike it just can't handle that, that really rankles. Yes, I left that unsaid. There really is a dissonance between how the series has been promoted and described and how it actually is, and I can't figure o...

Yup. Haven't been able to trek round forums of late, so if anyone has: where are these people, and what sort of figure is being attached to "a lot"? There are definitely people who are enjoying AHM as it is, though I'm not going to attempt to figure out numbers on either side. I missed #3...

I usually clean on the weekends while listening to podcasts. I feel like it's just a waste of time to sit there and listen when you could be getting chores done. Same here. I always have podcasts that need listening to. I like cleaning though, it's a good way to burn off a little stress with the ad...

Well, his campaign has been sort of directionless in the last week or so, so I imagine McCain and the GOP are going to milk the "Joe the Plumber" line for all it's worth. And some people will look for any excuse to justify their desire to vote in a certain direction.

Moping? Liking Guido's selected style for these pages; it's rather Roche-like. **** knows whether I'll be picking this up in trade by the time it gets to the halfway point, though. Still haven't seen anything to top Megs in Infiltration. I can't stop beating that particular dead horse, unfair as it...

Excellent point, Galvatron91. There are mayors who have governed over more people than she has. But, what does it matter. Half the population in Alaska probably thought they were voting for Tina Fey in the first place. That, or there are a LOT of lonely guys in Alaska. She won because it was no sec...
