ROTF Leader and Animated, both Cybertron mode and Voyager. RiD Prime deserves an honorable mention too.

Superion belongs here. Superion is actually pretty neat when assembled. How the manufacturers missed having Silverbolt's knees backwards, I'll never know. The limbs themselves are great, especially Fire Flight and Skydive! (the A-10ish ones) The other two are plagued with spectacularly bad weapons t...

I like Mixmaster's alt and robot modes. 'Artillery mode' is undeserving of being called a third mode.

Dead End/Detour's got a creepy little robot mode. A pain to get back into car mode... Anyone tried to fix his chest so that it can fold down completely yet?

I'd say the shoulders aren't so much as loose, just the tabs that secure his arms in biplane mode are much stiffer. It seems there's a lot of German love recently in Transformers, what with Animated Blitzwing, ROTF Scalpel, and Ransack here!;)

I think you've hit the nail on the head though - any gimmick that hinders transformation/quality of the TF is annoying. And that's because the transformation itself is the gimmick that sells Transformers. And overly complex transformations for no good reason are taking this a step too far and missi...

YES. I'm not sure if they're supposed to do this, but the glasses (pictured with them on) can be detached. I just assume leave them in.

You can mistransform the arms on the Voyager to get something almost resembling a jet, but only really about as much as the original did, if that. There's pictures of it in the other review.

In other words, Chromia's chest plates don't hold together very well either. I'm waiting on the supposed combined mode of the sisters before I pick any of them up. I'd need something like the tabs on The Fallen secure before I'd be comfortable with the jet mode, I'm afraid. Besides, I like the tank ...

I have the lighter version. The darker one is supposed to be TakaraTomy's version, but a few of it and Sideways 'accidentally' got sold in North America. I'll just fix that little error. (I don't own Armada Thrust, so I had to Wiki it)
