Just got the last four issues on Amazon... yeah, it feels more focused. Not terribly keen on all of the mind wipes, distance having no meaning, etc, but am enjoying it again. I think that while it's still quite dense in terms of dialogue, it doesnt feel as rushed. The first 6 issues of Lost Light r...

Lost Light #14

And we're back... Always nice to get a quick turnaround on 2 issues so this comes pretty quick after issue 13. The focus is on the scavengers and my guess is we are a strong pulling of all the threads together. There's a lot of callbacks in this issue to previous stuff. Not everything gets out-right...

Never thought of Max PTSD in effect there. That makes a lot of sense. He's almost taken on a reverse-overlord role there. I don't mind Fangry being taken down easy by Max, but I hope its not the last we see of him. To my mind, if there is no retribution for Cyclonus or a resurrected Tailgate than it...

Yep, its the flowers around you that are the dead souls isnt it?

A very strong issue. Lots of things thrown out there to mull over, although its a bit of a cliff hanger as the next 2 issues look to wrap up the scavengers (or maybe bring them to a point where they join the main cast perhaps) Art was lovely on this I thought. I had worries we might see the old AM w...

On the art front, I wouldnt say Lawrences stuff was bad, its his style that I dont gel with. But it had been very good the last 2 issues. This felt like a drop back into his comfort zone The griffiths stuff is also not that bad, it just looks rushed and not his usual quality. Some of the panels are ...

The first issue of MTMTE was January 2012 so it is 6 years old come the new year. Interesting to read about it only being three deaths for this issue. I assume than that the proctobots survived being gunned to pieces. I suppose that's fair enough as we've seen (and been misled) by similar with Cyclo...

Lost Light #12

An issue originally scheduled for November just about squeaks in before the end of the year, featuring 2 artists and 3 colourists. Not sure if that was a design choice or by necessity but.... SPOILER THOUGHTS It's an ok issue. Like much of Lost Light so far, things feel a little rushed but given the...

Not sure I'm the best to judge these movies anymore but I think this ties with revenge of the fallen for just being an ungodly mess. I enjoyed AOE for it being a little mindless but Last Knight will have you eye rolling quickly. And whats worse is the set pieces dont really work that much either. Th...

I am all for new comics and cartoons about the Transformers. Heck, I even like the old Hanna Barbara's Challenge of the Gobots. I am not too sure if there should be more Transformers movies even without Bay at the helm. What do you think? I think if its a new director they should reboot and give it...

And I'm guessing the all those people who are owed money lose out big time as well with the bankruptcy. Hasbro, these are the men you should be going after with your team of lawyers.

I'd fully agree with the above and add in that companies should stay away from this franchise approach as a standard. I know Ive a few friends who have stopped bothering with the Marvel stuff because they cant be arsed keeping track of all the different movies. AoE really didnt need the 'to be conti...

I know! They should merge it with the battleship/ gi now franchises and create a Hasbro universe. That's worked wonders for the comics (firmly believe idws upcoming first strike event is the nail in the coffin for me)

G1 collectors do have the option to demand our G1 toys to be upgraded with electronics and chips to work with an app or multiple apps on our iPhones and iPads. The only thing stopping this is the fact that they've said they don't want it. Or you want the original item? That's the whole point of bei...

It's why my G1 collection is exclusively on iTunes. The rest of you have no excuse. You're getting ripped off mate. I download my g1 toys from pirate bay using utoyrrent. As for trading in old for new, iPod for walken is just the delivery method. We now buy our g1 toys online. But the toy, especial...

Given many collectors picked up the g1 because of the toys they remembered in their youth I don't think that makes a lot of sense.

Whatever the personal preference of a toy or character, I thought it was a given that unicorn three are more powerful than the deceptions that came before though, right? Galveston in particular looked to be Megatron xl in toy and story description.
