Re: Easy learning on YouTube
Yeah, haven't seen much point with TFs (although Chris is someone I'd trust to get the facts right and make it entertaining) but for properties I've been less into summary vids are quite cool -- 40K Theories is one I tend to listen to. For anyone else... https://www.youtube.com/user/ChrisMcFeely/fea...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
https://comicbook.com/gear/news/transformers-cyberverse-toyfair-2020-fall-battle-call-line/ Meteorfire looks like quite a nifty generic out of that line-up too... good to see new characters. The alt mode reminds of some old Japanese TF (and associated line) toys. Like Hammerbyte, overpriced in this ...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Sure, but compared to half-arsed redecos like Drag Strip out of Mirage in the Classics line, new heads and sculpting do make a nice difference. Felt it worth getting another Dreadwind at least -- all that letters page exposure left a mark. I think it's partly also because later Autobots are blander ...

It's the approach any organisations with an iota of sense will be following.

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
The combined jet could have been done with more care and it would've made all the difference. But I'd probably settle for Blackwing not fetching more than it's worth in the UK so I could justify having a pair in robot mode as well as the combined jet. Dreadwind was more available and by far the bett...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
It is a bit of a love-letter to obscure stuff, isn't it? Looks neat, I'm just finding it hard to justify anything in that size class. Particularly when the original (no nebulans but with the key accs for death chicken and missile launcher modes) was a really cheap eBay acquisition.

They're married. Not actually a wind-up or the first for this forum as I was reminded a while back (Scout and Dia Atlas).
Also sorry, didn't realise I hadn't said hi and welcome back.

Re: Custom Siege Pinpointer (or: babby's first dye job) [and other random customs]
Yeah, its a standard sort of headmaster design. Thought that pure black like the original might be a bit overpowering due to the chunkiness but it works and won't get displayed separately anyway. Fits with the original headmaster supposedly just being the square face bit in the middle. https://i.img...

Re: Desperate need of help for gift!
Trypticon is probably the third he's referring to, going by the release order of the modern Titan ones. If he hasn't already got Metroplex, that's the one that usually goes with Trypticon -- mZujzpeXvVg Scorponok has recently been released so will be available for a while. Prices for Fortress Maximu...

Rotorstorm is pretty disappointing. I'm a bit disappointed by Rotorstorm. It's just Spinister dressed up in Autobot colours. In what must've been a late change, does apparently have a new head: https://twitter.com/playwithphotos/status/1289345528417751040 https://twitter.com/playwithphotos/status/1...

Re: Desperate need of help for gift!
Probably. In terms of main line releases, cities are some of the Titan size class releases. Metroplex (2013) Fortress Maximus (2016) Trypticon (2017) -- probably this one Omega Supreme (2019) -- most wouldn't count as a city + released after Trypticon anyway Scorponok (2020) See if you can ask the s...

Re: Custom Siege Pinpointer (or: babby's first dye job) [and other random customs]
Love the targetmasters. I kind of like orange Grapple though, at least in this design. Very much a fan of simple tweaks -- having had the foot come off the 3P Athena version of Minerva, I was more open to rubbing off the white paint on the chest plate so she's more like the original design, coloured...

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!
I pulled out all my modern Targetmasters today after making what wound up being partners for Spinister and Scourge. https://i.imgur.com/8JJZVoe.jpg[ I love almost all these guys, but most of them are fairly new. The older three, though, definitely deserve another look! Illustrates well what I've al...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Masterpiece MP-20 Wheeljack - Actually won a eBay auction for this and saved a lot of money. Is it a real one? I just assume all of the listings are KOs with MP stuff (not that that's a bad thing, the quality is generally good as long as you know what you're getting -- it's sellers that don't know ...

Re: BEAST WARS: DON BROWN, COLIN MURDOCK & DOUG PARKER
I'd say your best bet is asking other BW voice actors, to be honest. Googling Doug Parker as an example I'd assume he's retired -- no recent film or TV work and he doesn't seem to do conventions.

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Which Devastators are those? By that, I mean that I know that it's the combiner wars version on the left and Hulkie on the right, but are they originals or size-changed KOs? I still want some version of the Hulkie sculpt, but there're so many different bootlegs. If memory serves, it's the Wei Jiang...
