What if Hot Rod never interfered in the battle between Prime & Megatron?

About a year later I got Galvatron, Cyclonus & Scourge at a car boot sale for about 50p. My Autobots always got slaughtered after that. I mean, Sludge, Kup & Bumblebee aren't going to put up much of a fight, are they?

I remember the ending of the G1 comics story being really satisfying. God, got that wrong.

I also really enjoyed afterdeath when I was 7, and was terrified by Galvatron.

It'd be cool if his speed was a result of another Jhiaxus experiment gone wrong. Predictable, but it'd make sense in continuity.

I can't help wishing that IDW could publish a 'showcase/omnibus' book of the UK stuff, starting at the beginning, working through. You mean like when Cyclonus was easily killed by a clapped out old drone in Megatron fancy dress? I always read it as the Real Megatron, bleeding into the Altered image storyline. At the very least, the drone was hardly clapped out and must at least have been comparable in stats to Megs or Shockwav...

Cyclonus. You only have to look at the situations where the Unicron Decepticons come into contact with pre-movie TFs to see the outcome. I'm thinking Time Wars or Target 2006 here...

I'd like the 2004 game but with more (preferably G1) characters. Other than that, I honestly think that game was as good as a Transformers game will ever get. That movie game? not good.

So hang on... Will I struggle with the main storyline beyond this if I skip it? (Can't really afford to buy it if it's gonna suck...)
