Can't say I've tried chrome polish on him, but I'm not sure I'd want to for fear of doing more damage to him  I must admit I do like the seeker mold, but I did avoid the MP Starscream and went for the Hasbro version, though even then there are some stress marks even on him. The Thundercrac...

I'd have to agree with all the above comments: Mine is suffering from chrome discolouration on the feet. I've only transformed him to gun mode once and even then I couldn't get him properly transformed. He's stayed in 'bot mode ever since. He is a good display piece, but only to a certain extent. He...

Picked RTS Windcharger and HFTD Breacher last week from Asda (was in Aberdeen on business and they have a big Asda, they did have quite a few newer figures including the Rodimus Cyclonus 2 packs which surprised me, but luggage space meant I could only get scouts). Generations Red Alert, Thunderwing,...

I've found that Sainsburys Red Label aren't that bad for the cost. I generally get a huge bag every few months, their only downside in my opinion is that they tend to be dustier then some of the more expensive brands, but the saving for me outweighs the pain of having to clean the tea container on a...

Checked my Sunstreaker and Sideswipe, Sunstreakers engine is the unpainted one, though I expect that the silvered one would look better on Sunstreaker as it's more visible in bot mode. I do have the engine attached to the gun for Sideswipe, but that's because I'm using it as the missile launcher on ...

I used to care, but now I don't as much. I also used to use the Nephew one when/if asked (which was rarely), but why should they bother? My parents accept it, as does my girlfriend and her kids No-one else really matters to the point that I care about what they think about my collecting. As has been...

In the UK I'd go for Games Workshop paints, they're fairly cheap (just over a couple of quid) and go on fairly easily. With black it should only take one or two coats, but if you're doing lighter coloured coats it generally takes more. In addition after you've painted the bits you want, apply a varn...

Got ROTF Superion for half price a couple of weeks ago, not bad but needs either the Fansproject Armour or I may make my own. Also got Backroad Brawl 2 pack of ROTF Hoist vs Mixmaster reduced at TRU. I really like the Hoist mold (TF1 Longarm) though the G1 bright green on Mixmaster took some getting...

Well that's just plain irritating, there's a couple of figures that I want and by the time I get back to the UK they'll have put the prices back up >.<

I think you're right about the guns in the armoured carrier mode being his blaster. I think looking at the early prototype shots here , it looks like the two blades slide over the top of each other to form one sword. Also the test shots in the original post have diecast!, wonder if that means the fi...

My Fansproject Ultra Magnus Armour arrived yesterday. Glad I missed it the first time around as I also got the shoulder launchers and the UM rifle as well in the set. This was definately worth the wait :)

If they are still releasing their triple changers I will be picking them up as well.

The whole issue was a huge disappointment after AHM15. It was dare I say it worse than the whole of the previous AHM issues. Continuity errors (though I suppose we should be getting used to them), artistic license on bot and vehicle modes is going a bit far now. Also what was that bollocks about Sky...

I loved the first story, though I'm still left wondering where Kup's original body is stored. If it's at the research station, then how is he controlling his body from all that distance away, and why wasn't it destroyed during the 'purge' pre AHM. The Perceptor story has echoes of Spotlight Shockwav...

In no particular order though I'm emphasising the molds in a few case not the characters: MP/20th Anniversary Prime: Well engineered and solid build quality and a great update to a iconic figure. Binaltech/Alternators RX8 mold: In my opinion the best engineered of the Alt/BT line, with great charact...

Never owned the G1 toys, but I'd have to say Divebomb because of his rivalry with Swoop in the UK Marvel stories. Razorclaw is a close second, recently picked up the Botcon Razorclaw (the Lio Breaker repaint/mould) and he really suits that mould.

Seen a few Legends Jetfire's in my all 3 local Sainsbury's, and Shrewsbury TRU, though can't remember seeing a Leader Jetfire while I was there yesterday.

Picked up ROTF Dunerunner and Depth Charge, they are 2 great little molds, plenty of articulation for their size :)

Smokescreen (Henkei) -- [PROOFED]
