Funky Punk Electro-clash? Not really sure how to classify these guys, but I'm jamming to some Ghostland Observatory lately.

Hmm, yes, sad but that's the way worldwide franchises have to operate to meet the demand. Needless to say, I've only eaten at KFC possibly 5 times in my life. Living in the American South, we have at least one Mom&Pop Chicken restaurant in every town, so the need for KFC is non-existent except f...

Thanks, Ackula. I'm going to go out and hunt down Battle Angel Alita, considering how much I love the Japanese cyberpunk them of Blame! Tomie also sounds really interesting, as I've read Mr. Ito's incredibly odd Gyo. I'd post you a link to the scans but the site it's hosted on has been having some t...

Manga Suggestions

I've been shuffling through my standard internet haunts looks for new manga scans to read through, but I'm having trouble finding one that really catches my interest. Mostly everything is getting a little cliche and when I do find one I like, it's brand new, so I'll have to wait for updates. My tast...

I'll second the library idea, because you'll never now what you'll find in there. This book was in my high school library and I would often read it during my lunch break. It's quite interesting, especially if the intro is still the same, describing the FBI's definition of a serial killer and whatnot...

Ha, I remember the horror and humor that video filled me with. I thought it was funny that I couldn't find the video anywhere on youtube a month before the 2007 movie. Claimed to have been removed. Bay Conspiracy?

Are we talking about actually barking or just an angry noise? Because making angry noise is fun and stress relieving when someone does something stupid on the road. I never acted on my "Road Rage" until my friends riding with me would bitch ME out for not screaming at the cars which pulled...

Ah, I love the sharing of musical tastes. I personally enjoy Grails a lot since they were recommended to me by the guy at my local record shop. They are one of those crazy progressive instrumental rock groups, with everything being a little dissonant and whatnot, but I can listen to any of their alb...

Worse things being put out don't change the poor quality of the original material... Yeah...I know that isn't the way to make a valid argument, but it was a good excuse to final share the series with the rest of the community. I think it's hilarious, but whatever. I also remember that Jurassic Park...

Are you talking about the novel or the character? I personally really like the vampire mythos of Stoker's but I'll agree it's got it's flaws. And the novel, no the greatest, but still enjoyable considering some of the crap they put out today. Example Given: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Viking-Un...

How did Twilight ever become popular? The same way Hannah Montana and the Backstreet Boys did. Seriously, companies love to exploit the screaming mass of teenage girls and have been doing it since the Beatles ever stepped off an airplane. The only reason Myers ever got her little vampire fanfiction ...

I laughed so hard watching that. Had to explain it to my Ma. Anywho, most college bands I saw marching today had cheerleaders prancing around. Yet again , the only college band I remember seeing was ole Georgia Tech's.
