Transformers ain't the only series that does the repaints, there are many series that are currently at in the past that does this.

Robotech, Gundam and all those robot series along those lines .

Yea, I highly doubt its true. They have their hands full with the Transformers: Animated Series + the new Movie coming out in 2009. I think its false on that premise alone + with the addition of your comments.
