Damn! Good find. Do the lights and sounds all work? What surprised me the most was that the 20+ year old demo batteries had not only not leaked but still had enough charge in them to operate it. After only about a week or so tho they were clearly no longer up to the task so I swapped them out and i...

Well they're definitely going to do something . I just hope it's better . And just sticking on the writing side of things, I believe RTD himself said that he'd never let someone like Pip & Jane Baker write a script for the new series, but if they could let something as abysmal as Kill the Moon enter...

“The Sun Makers” is a perfect example of ‘shameless finger pointing without any sense of irony’, and it’s over 40 years old. The Sun Makers didn't have a companion just walk up to the villain and tell him to sod off because he's a filthy capitalist or something. Having characters go on random outbu...

How would you rank it against Predator 2? ...is actually a terrible question since I like Predator 2, some of the reasons might even count as negatives for others. For example, the movie takes place in the then-future year of 1997, which dates the movie horribly, but I like it because it gives the f...

I mean, the original Zygon story commented on the contemporary energy crisis and ended with the Loch Ness Monster trying to eat Maggie Thatcher. The 2015 variant wasn't really that much more agenda driven. And that's a story from one of the more detached eras of Who, when you get into the Pertwee o...

Saw 2001: A Space Odyssey on the big screen! Big deal had been made out of the fact that there's a newly restored 70mm print in circulation, hence the theatrical re-release...so I was already in for a disappointment because Finnish cinemas no longer have film projectors so all we got was a digital c...

So I got the super colossal Tyrannosaurus Rex made by Mattel. It's been sitting in the HLJ private warehouse for two months because, well... It only cost like 50-60 euro which wasn't so bad, but the shipping was more than the toy itself, and then I got slapped with customs on top of it, so the whole...
