Well, they've certainly built the universe such that a sequel's very possible. You definitely get the feeling the characters we see in the show are part of a much larger population, so there's no reason a sequel couldn't be in another part of the war, either in a different place or a different time.

Okay, there's the same number of *seasons*, but there's nowhere near as many eps. Assuming S3 is the same as the previous two, that's a total of 39 episodes, compared to 52 for BW, 100 for G1 and 150-odd for the Unicron trilogy. Suppose it will have run as long as RiD, but it's up to you whether tha...

Ah, thanks. Personally, I'd prefer if they didn't in the movie, simply because I like my Prime old school. It seems pretty implausible for a regular 'bot to become a combiner in the short time that's supposed to have passed between the movies too. I mean, that's got to be a hell of a thing to deal ...

Hugely relieved to find out that Cheetor's arms are mistransformed in that pic. Looks very cool otherwise.

Also, is it just me or is Hound's colour scheme way too bright?

(delurks) Not much to add, although I was standing behind Dalek when Lee Sullivan said he'd eaten Geoff Senior, and as it turns out, he was trying to gain his power to form some sort of new uber-artist... Also, Lee recently rediscovered a lot of his old original artwork from Time Wars and other late...

There certainly was a change of "feel" in the toys post-movie. But I wouldn't say it was a different product. By that point the series' mythology was ingrained enough in the minds of most fans that it runs together as a continuous thing. If the mythology of it's not your bag, then that's c...

I can't speak for the rest of the Archive, but personally I'm not completely condemning the G1 cartoon at all. It's riddled with plot holes, it's badly animated, I found it poorly written at age five, and it's entirely geared around Hasbro's toy of the week... ...and I greatly enjoy watching it on a...

Hmm.... maybe we're breeding a new generation of abstract expressionist children? No, wait, that's not cool, hip and 2005 enough, it went out of fashion in the 60s..... LOTR proved that made properly, good old-fashioned storytelling pictures can still do well at the box office. And BW showed that so...

Oldtimer, I'm not entirely sure you know what you're talking about with regard to Denyer's comment. Nooooo, kids today don't want this new-fangled "semantic construction" or "cultural referencing"...... Except you say they do want witty one-liners. Now correct me if I'm wrong, bu...

Someone elsewhere (sorry, can't remember who) mentioned Mark Hamill (because of his role as the Joker in the Batman cartoon) as a good one for Starscream. Doubt they'll use him, but it's an interesting thought nonetheless.....

As a side note, it's an interesting saga to read of Don's dispute with iMDb and that one crazy fanboi. Bizarre.

And Keith Richards in POTC2? Cool!

It was Mount St. Hilary. Don't know enough of American geography to say if that's a real place or whether it's a reference to Mount St. Helens, but Oregon is specifically mentioned a lot in the comics, and once or twice in the cartoon too, if I recall correctly.
