Flec's garage sale!

Now some of you may not know me. Probably gonna stay that way. But the rest - hello! I've got a box and a duffle bag full of toys my girlfriend's convinced me to part with so she can turn the extra bedroom into an office. My loss is your gain! I've got the following for sale. Sale only, I'm afraid. ...

Not back, just saying hi. Been gone also. Will still be gone.

Sub-Level Two Bumblebee followed Arcee and Hound quietly. He was happy to be in the company of friends, but he felt he needed to respect his position as a prisoner. More importantly, he was a bit nervous as he considered the specific wording he'd use to proposition Hound about his eventual trial...

a virus that we wrote overnight!" Once again you underestimate Jeff Goldblum. He can and will do anything given enough time, or even none at all. Now watch this drive. Anyway, here's a better question: Optimus is referred to more than once (I think; haven't seen it in a few weeks) as the last ...

Sub-Level Two Bumblebee had to admit he was a bit lost. He'd been here before, but he couldn't quite remember where he'd been going... Was it a left up here? Or was that back to the cell block? He smiled at Arcee and waved, genuinely happy to see a familiar face. "Hey Arcee. Hound and I are tr...

I give up. I don't know this McFeely fellow, but he's got the right idea.

Incidentally, when does your book come out?

While I recognize the characteristics of life as designed by astro- and xenobiologists, I maintain that they are dependent upon the assumptions that: 1) The source of new life in a species is exclusively intrinsic to members of the species; 2) The species faces a changing environment that necessitat...

Yes, the rules of nature do apply. These are physical laws, whether a life form is naturally occurring or artificially created. Why? The purpose of these physical laws is to interpret the occurrences of a single datapoint - the evolution of life on one planet under very specific (and, speaking in c...

Y'know, Ratchet was pretty unhinged in the first film too, going after Brawl with that buzzsaw and doing an awful lot of shooting at things. Pretty tame compared to his sociopathic teammates, but for a medic that's straight deranged. Who does the Decepticon doctor (who apparently is named Scalpel) e...

I tried to click that link, but I'm at work and the firewall caught it. The firewall has different categories ("Games," "Social Networking," etc) that it identifies when it blocks something.

This time it was "Tasteless." That's classic.

Sub-Level Two: Morgue Corridors Bumblebee smiled broadly. He didn't know the base very well, but he'd been to medbay and he figured he could find his way back. "Sure thing, Hound! " His first step was quick, nearly a jog, but he slowed when he remembered Wing Saber's nearly-broken state. ...

Reverse engineering for human industry, I'd suppose. Since they're presumably out of live Decepticons, and since Prime has indicated he doesn't intend to help the humans with technological progress, the cube chunk would be all they'd have left.

One thing that's bothering me, though - the base where the Allspark fragment the military have is described as the most secure in the world or whatever... Even assuming they actually have more than a trio of dune buggies that we don't see, surely the most secure place for something like that would ...

Never did the alcohol thing until a couple months ago. I'm a lot like Hound - I don't drink to get drunk (never have actually; don't see the appeal), so I prefer something tasty. Dark beers do the job. I'm a big fan of Kilt Lifter and Moose Drool, and Sierra Nevada's all right if a bit stinky. Newca...

That there article Civ linked wrote: He reiterates it's [the twins] purely for the kids.
It'll take a couple more viewings to confirm, but my sense is that those two characters do more swearing than anyone else in the film.

OPTIMUS HIT MEGATRON WITH A FRIGGIN TREE. Ya know, I hated it at first, but the more I think about it the more I appreciate it. More details after lunch maybe. Please, please, hold your applause. [EDIT: Okay. As a piece of cinema, this movie is garbage, but we expected that. Even given that, there a...
