Sir Auros' review of: Spychanger Prowl

Name: Prowl
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Military Strategist
Sub-Group: NA
"Logic is the ultimate weapon."

Prowl is a strategic genius. His logic center is the most sophisticated in the Autobot army, capable of analyzing complex combat situations and making strategic decisions almost instantaneously. Unexpected events, however, have been known to scramble his circuits. Launches powerful wire-guided missiles and high-corrosive acid pellets.

Prowl and Jazz were my main interests in the G1 Spychanger line and while Jazz let me down a little, Prowl lived up to my expectations and has managed to become my favorite in this series. Everything about the figure is just awesome and I believe it is an example of just how amazing a spychanger can be.

Vehicle Mode:
Prowl's vehicle mode is still that of a Highway Patrol vehicle and the paintjob emulates the original almost perfectly. The vehicle itself looks very cool and like other spychangers has a tremendous amount of play value as a car. The only thing that's a little weird is the spoiler on the back, but the original figure wasn't based on a vehicle normally used for police operation either.

Robot Mode:
Awesome. The paintjob is excellent and the head's detailed. The head looks nothing like the original Prowl's head, but at least it's painted well and looks good regardless. The chest on this spychanger is also very nice because it doesn't seem to stick out as far as the others', so that's an interesting little bit of design. One word of warning about transforming this figure into robot mode is that unlike the other spychangers, you have to pull down the hood before pulling out the arms on this figure. The arms have little bits that are under the hood and can't be pulled out until the hood has been moved. Doesn't really affect anything, but it confused me at first and I guess it could be possible that someone could break the arms not knowing what to do.

Transformation: 7 - Simple like other spychangers, but different and a tad awkward the first time
Durability: 9 - Arms stay nice and tight.
Fun: 10 - Fun and stylish in both modes.
Price: 10 - It's a 10 if you can find it in a KB store, but it tends to be a bit more expensive on ebay.
Summary: 10 - Best. Spychanger. Ever.
