A mysterious and deadly warrior, Bludgeon strikes terror into friend and foe alike. His arcane code of honour and seemingly supernatural abilities set him apart from the common Decepticon. He leads the Mayhem Attack Squad, the Decepticons' most feared combat unit.

Bludgeon is a master of Metallikato, an ancient Cybertronian martial art. A master swordsman and hand-to-hand combatant, he augments his physical abilities with a dash of black magic. He can summon electric fireballs from thin air, disappear without a trace in a puff of smoke and telekinetically control sizable objects. How exactly he accomplishes this is a mystery even to his closest allies.

In his younger days Bludgeon was quite close with Bugly and Mindwipe, with whom he formed the Chaos Trinity. Bugly joined with him to rebuild the Mayhem Attack Squad after the Quintesson invasion of Cybertron, but was later killed. If he could be said to be friends with anyone it would be Octopunch and Stranglehold, two long-time comrades and subordinates. Recently, he has taken Black Battle Convoy on as an apprentice of sorts.
