“My Angle? MY ANGLE!! Perhaps my presence makes you a little uncomfortable does it? You might have convinced your new buddies and may be even yourself for a few nano seconds but you don’t convince me.”
Thrust lowered his tone, Dirge could be his only chance of getting out of here. He didn’t want to blow it.
“My Angle is I have been stuck in this Primus forsaken hole for so many cycles I’ve lost count. My angle is I don’t know what to think anymore. Talk is cheap Dirge, I’ve heard a lot of rhetoric but am yet to see your so called Autobot freedoms. Justice BAH even the Quints treat their prisoners better than this”.
Enough tugging at the central processor strings time for some hardball,
“So Dirge, my angle is that you show me some Autobot hospitality you never know I could be saved maybe there is an Autobot inside me screaming to get out. A friendly con to bot chat that’s all I ask, you could even bring some of your buddies along. We could have a nice little energon party, the kind we used to have before the wars”.
Thrust may not be the most intelligent or courageous of warriors, but he certainly was good at getting under another bots ‘skin’.
“Unless, hmmmm no. Could it be the mighty Autobot Dirge is scared? Scared to deal with your past are you Dirge”?

Med Bay
Arcee winced a little as her sapphire blue optics lit up into life, while a rudimentary self diagnostic programme literally flashed before her eyes as she returned too the world of the living. The young Autobot quietly acknowledged the quite hiss of escaping air as her CR Chamber slid open, allowing her lithe frame to step out and regain its bearings.
It didn’t take long too remember where she was; only a brief moment of confusion clouded her waking cortex. With a small moan she rotated her shoulder, the joint still stiff from the days trials, a day that was, perhaps tragically, impossible too forget, and quite possibly still far from over.
Arcee had not been forced into stasis lock, unlike many of the poor sparks that littered the Med Bay around her, but when her mounting injuries had nearly robbed her of her ability too even walk, she had too seek repairs. Even if the thought of leaving her allies…her friends, too fight on without her aid had been galling too say the least.
She allowed herself the smallest sigh, a brief scan of the current radio chatter confirming that the prison break still wasn’t entirely contained. Was this the third attempt today, the fourth? It didn’t matter in the end, it was all part of the same crisis, and one that still needed to be resolved, and so the smallest sigh was all she would allow herself.
There were Autobots who had given far more this day, she could be prepared too give no less as she immediately made her way too the exit.

"Right now, Thrust, I am too tired for this," Dirge spoke, his tone flat and without any enthusiasm for the situation. "You'll pardon me for not being too convinced with you being so agitated. Certainly the rest of my fellow Autobots are never going to let you out of that cell with that much of an attitude towards me, let along anyone else you don't have any attachment to.
"All and all, it really doesn't matter what I feel, it's what the others feel, as I"m not getting locked up over you. If you want my support, if you want to really have a chance to see what the Autobots are all about, you'll need to start behaving like you mean it. I'll show you what they are all about, but you must show ME that you are sincere..."
Dirge had to pause briefly, holding off a yawn, feeling even more drained than before. "You think about it for a while, and you think good and long, because if I do let you out, and you're just trying to play me, and I catch on, you are going to regret the thought ever coming across your processor. Now stop pestering me or anyone else in the area. I doubt the others will be as pacient with you as me, if they get dragged out of their rest as well."

Thrust grimaced as he heard Dirges words crackle over thecom. It wasn’t exactly what he wanted to hear. Hiding his hostility was a new thing for Thrust but he would have to bite his tongue if he was going to have a chance of getting out of his retched cell.
“OK OK Dirge, you win this one. I’ll stop pestering you”.
Suddenly Thrust had a revelation perhaps the first in his life. The realization he was not in a position to demand ANYTHING. The feeling of humiliation and helplessness hurt even more than beating Dirge and Windcharger had dealt him earlier that day.
“Just one question though, how can I show you anything while I’m trapped in this cell like a slaggin statue?” Thrusts best attempt to conceal his sarcasm failed pretty miserably.
"Thrust out"

Sub Level Two, Corridors
Not for the first time today, Arcee’s thoughts turned too the Paradon Medics working too save the lives of her friends several floors up, the Fembots who shared her original body schematics. If not for a few twists of fate, she would have more in common with them than physical resemblance, in all likelihood she would have been working alongside them. She would have been one of them.
The life may have even suited her, Arcee’s compassionate nature lending itself too the desire of healing the sick and wounded, of directly saving lives. As fate would have it, however, out of all of her ‘siblings’, Arcee had been more adept at wielding a pistol than directing a scalpel.
In the end, it wasn’t a shift in fate that she regretted, but she had too think, just as an axe blade parted the air just above her cranium with a wicked whistle of air, perhaps living the life of a non-combatant wouldn’t have been so bad.
Arcee ducked and pivoted with the rapid reflexes her lithe frame afforded her, narrowly avoiding the lethal tip of a bladed weapon that was bigger than she was. The Decepticon that seemed intent of decapitating her snarled with rage as his double handed axe crashed into the wall instead of her cranium. It was a snarl that quickly shifted into a roar of pain as Arcee whipped about a pair of bladed weapons of her own, the energon swords slicing through his legs and cutting him off at the knees.
The oversized Decepticon crashed too the floor with a metal cracking thud, several profanities escaping his voice box as he did so. Arcee ignored the crass language as best she could, certainly not a fan of the cruder elements of the cybertronian language, as she darted forward.
Her energon blades flashed a second time, only this time she pivoted one too bring it down pommel first, bludgeoning the would be escapee in the forehead. With a quite sigh of relief, Arcee was glad too see him slip into docile stasis lock.
She could have simply killed him, more than a few of her comrades would have probably suggested that she do so, but she wasn’t there yet. Even after all these years, and all the Deceptions had done, she was not an assassin yet, she never planned too be.
Arcee wasn’t about too start killing when she didn’t have too.
After a short moment of pause, the pink tinted Fembot regaining her bearings, she came too a sudden sense of readiness, the sounds of footsteps heading her way.
Several footsteps…
Thankfully she was able too relax, a smile finding it’s way too her faceplate at the sight of two familiar faces of Hound and Bumblebee, and the third Autobot they were escorting.
“Boys…”
She welcomed them with more than a little relief.
“…excuse the mess, I think one of our guests has had too much too drink”.

Catilla shrugged at Pipes. "I think hunting escapees for sport might be considered sadistic." He teased the mini-bot.
Grapple just sighed to himself as he watched a piece of wall crumble in.
~~~~
"Stay put, Afterburner. Ain't nothin' stayin' secure for long 'round here."
Blaster finally caught up with Cliffjumper and Roadrocket taking aim at the latter.
"You’re still a slave, Angron. Enslaved by your past, blind to the future. Too hateful to learn. Too spiteful to prosper."
Boredom, intense unabated boredom Thrusts new enemy. After eons fighting the Autobots how had it come to this. For the past two days Thrust had been counting, counting his transistors, counting rivets, counting circuit linkages, he was starting to doubt his own sanity, doubt himself,
Perhaps Dirge was right? NO he couldn’t be, Autobot trickery, he’s playing games with you Thrust. They all are, gotta watch these sneaky Autobots.
Maybe that bang on the head had done more damage than he first thought.
Thrust opened his com link, anything to relieve the boredom.
“Thrust to Dirge, Thrust to Dirge. Come on Dirge, I’m going crazy in here eh? What about our little chat eh? Little bit of Autobot hospitality you could spare a little for ya old pal Thrust couldn’t you?”
He was starting to sound desperate.
Well, at least he wasn't as agitated as before... Dirge had just begun to wake up from his rest, letting himself out of his CR chamber to test his joints, not immediately answering Thrust. He was still thinking over the situation, and he did not want to get in a possition of commiting to something he couldn't carry out.
"I've just gotten out of a rest cycle, it's gonna take some time," Dirge responded to Thrust over the com link. "So long as you mind yourself and don't get out of control, I'll put in as many good words for you as I can, but I can't work a miracle. Most of this is going to be on you. You get out of line, do anything even remotely suspicious, and it doesn't matter what I say, they'll deal with you. I'm not gonna risk all I've worked for, all my friendships, over you if this proves to be a stunt. Understand?"
While he waited for Thrust's response, Dirge went over to Windcharger's CR Chamber, looking to see if it had any information about the resting Autobot.
Sub-Level Two, Corridors
"A bit too much, and then some," Hound called out to Arcee, unable to offer her a wave, as he was still helping to support Wing Saber as the large bot moved along. "Though not as if any of these guys never needed that as an excuse to begin with.
"Most of the damage appears to have been done by some Unicronians," Wing Saber interjected, his voice tones showing some of his exhaustion. "At least, that is how I wound up as I am now, having to put one of them down while attending to some others of their kind. I'm afraid I won't be of much use around here until I've been checked out by the medics, if our guide hasn't been too thrown off course by all of the remodelling," Wing Saber spoke, indicating Bumblebee with a polite gesture.
Thrust rolled his eyes, composed himself and gritted his teeth,
“Thanks Dirge I know you’ll do what you can, I promise no stunts.You have my word".
Thrust took a deep breath and exhaled.
"Seeker to seeker”.
Yeah because there’s nothing suspicious about ramming an Autobots head through a wall. Still anything to get outta here.
Bumblebee had to admit he was a bit lost. He'd been here before, but he couldn't quite remember where he'd been going... Was it a left up here? Or was that back to the cell block? He smiled at Arcee and waved, genuinely happy to see a familiar face.
"Hey Arcee. Hound and I are trying to get our friend here to get checked out by the medics. Could you show us the way? I don't really know the layout here..."
Sealed CR Chamber
Thrust could hear two Autobots shuffling around in close proximity to his chamber. His audio receptors tingled, he could make out two voices. Probably Windcharger and Dirge discussing himself no less.
Thrust pondered making a commotion but decided to air on the side of cautions. Just wait and see what they do……..
