just curious how many seasons there were of Beast wars- as i plan to buy the series on dvd soon...

Your friend is probably counting Beast Machines in there too. Good luck with hunting though. I've found Season 3 is fairly abundant and cheap where I'm from. Never seen Season 1 or 2 in retail stores. Yet again, I was looking in Target and Barnes & Noble.
