According to the Wrestling Observer, the WWE has fired Kurt Angle. Pro wrestling is offically dead.

From what I've heard he's got some serious **** going on at home and really has over exterted himself so Vince wants him to take time off get himself and his family stuff back together then he will let him back with no problem.

Honestly, I'd rather have him be let go to get his life back to normal rather than be another wrestling fatality.

It sucks that he's gone for now, but like Ravage said, probably for the best. Man I'll miss him. Hope he returns soon.

I'm sure everyone knows this already, but Kurt Angle has signed with Total Nonstop Action (TNA) wrestling. So much for taking time off.
