Bridge, Warworld

Spinister nodded. "Your insight serves you well, Deathsaurus. The Quintessons do indeed control our home...but not for long."

Before he could say anything else, a communication crackled over the bridge speakers.

"This is Gigatron to all Decepticons on or around Earth. Effective immediately you will cease all hostile action against the Autobots and the planet's natives. Return immediately to the nearest Decepticon base and prepare yourselves for transportation into orbit. Expect a further briefing shortly. Gigatron out."

Sitting in the captain's chair, Astrotrain nodded in satisfaction.

"So it begins."

Moments later, the roar of the battlestation's engines faded as she dropped into Earth orbit very close to the moon.

Opening a comlink, he hailed the Nemesis. "Hatemonger, this is Astrotrain. The Warworld has arrived. I'm sending you rendezvous coordinates now."

"Okay Crosshairs." Skyfire laughed softly. The blackness of space diminished as they passed through the upper atmosphere and the continents rose up to meet them.
As they approached the distant Fortress Maximus, Skyfire tried to break the unsettling feeling he felt with a little humour.
"Going to be a balmy 82' F with partly cloudy skies. Watch your step upon landing and thank you for choosing Autobot airlines."

Steelhaven, Bridge

A noisy noise beeped on the sensor station. Bacskreet left Pinpointer with his thoughts and stepped fastly towards the monitor.

" Oh Primus! First we lost Skyfire and Crosshairs, now this! " said the triggerbot while reading the sensor's readouts; he was shuddering nervously. The Steelhaven's crippled sensors had detected easily the Warworld's signature orbiting Earth.

" FIZZLE! " radioed -almost yelling- Backstreet, " we've detected an enormous ship orbting Earth! The ship's main computer says is the same ship who destroyed Phobos a while ago! They're going to blow up Earth!!!!!!! What are we gonna do now!!"

Nautilus recieved Gigatrons Broadcast at the same time as his Escorts. He turned to Starblade and said with a cold expression
"Fantastic. We go to liberate Cybertron from the Quintessons, and where am I? Jail. Absolutely brilliant."
He continued to follow them to his cell.

Hoist spends most of his time repairing things dosen't what happened outside until he got Fizzle's call. "Got it!" Then he headed to the rear but still confused what's going on.

----------Steelhaven Rear Turret----------
Hoist spotted something on the turret's screen he's not sure what it is,so he zoomed the view and saw a ship with Decepticon insignia. "Fizzle!I spotted Con's ship! They're heading to Earth."

Fizzle couldn't believe his luck. None of his Strategy involved a Moon sized Deathstar.
"ALL CREW, this is a RED ALERT. We are going to Combat positions." He said as calmly as he could into the comms.
"Huffer, I want that engine at full power in five minutes.
Hoist, get to where ever you need to be to monitor the Shields, we're gonna need those for sure.
Bumper, get ready for frontal assault, set up whatever you can for Automatic.
Backstreet, try hailing Earth, send them what we're seeing.
Outback, Get to the battle bridge so you can help bumper.
Pinpointer get to the shuttle bay and power up that working shuttle."
Fizzles mind raced.
"I'm bringing this Tub around; I've got a plan everyone, don't worry."
Not so much a plan as an idea: aim the 'haven at the cannon that destroyed Phobos while everyone else gets to earth on the Shuttle.
he took a second and looked at the vermin he'd been picking at, threw it to the floor.
I knew today was going to suck somehow.

Deathsaurus turned from Astrotrain, and Spinister and walked back over to the empty station look up some of the people he knew, and see what they were like here, and maybe see if he could find out some of what had happened to him.

Pinpointer took a minute to process what was going on before he was able to answer Fizzle.

"Uh...I hate to tell you, but Crosshairs took the good shuttle when he left with Skyfire. We could try getting the engines back into the small one, but I don't think we'll have enough time."

"Admiral," one of the ship's sensor drones called out, "we've got a bogey on the edge of the sensor grids. It reads as a Y-class Autobot heavy explorer."

Astrotrain considered that for a moment. "Since it would be idiotic to ask whether they've seen us, hail them."

The drone nodded, opening a hailing frequency.

"Crew of the unidentified Autobot starship, you're early for the rendezvous." Astrotrain cleared his throat. "Hold position and wait until the rest of the fleet arrives."

A squad of four dozen standard-issue Decepticon drones stood at the foot of Trypticon's ramp, deployed in a standard honour guard formation. As one, the forty-eight drones saluted crisply as the citycon's hatch opened.

Fizzle looked quizzical for a second.
He held off from replying to the hail for a second, and using the internal intercoms signalled the crew.
“OK, everyone stay calm; if this is a stalling tactic, it’s one of the more abstruse ones I’ve heard. Backstreet, could you send them some static as a reply to buy us some time; we’ll say the radio’s wrecked. If they do a scan of the ship it’ll hold up. And ah, Keep trying to hail the Autobases, yeah?
Pinpointer, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to see what we can do about the remaining shuttle eh? Everyone else, ah, keep calm and ready for my orders.”
Fizzle rubbed the bridge of his nose.

Backstreet was trying to compensate Earth upper atmpsphere conditions to send a clear transmission to Autobase when he received first Warworld's hail, then Prowl's message.

" Fizzle, message from Autobot command! " he radioed. " There's a truce! A truce to retake Cybertron! With the 'cons! We're in peace! We must head back to the Moon. Again " gabbled Backstreet, sending a copy from Prowl's message to the battle bridge.

He smiled happily to Pinpointer, but suddenly he thought about Crosshairs and Skyfire's losses.

" How can we make a truce with the killers of our friends? The deactivated bodies are still hot... " he thought bitterly.

Pinpointer saw Backstreet's smile, and saw that very same smile collapse moments later. He knew exactly why, of course...he felt the same way.

"I'll be in the hangar bay if you need me," he said, turning and heading for the turbolift.

Fizzle slumped back into his chair, and rested his head in his hands.
“This is turning into the most confusing day.”
He turned on the comms again, and addressed the ship.
“OK everyone, false alarm; following Prowls announcement which we all got, the Deathstar now orbiting Earth with the Decepticon symbols and sigils, is in fact on our side. Could Hoist and Outback support Pinpointer in looking at that shuttle, now we have the time and everything. Remaining Crew , stand down, return to your duties prior to emergency; “
Fizzle returned to the navigation of the ship, turning it gently back to Moon orbit.
