[Original RPG] End of the Line: Balance Point (Other)

Sledge's optics went wide at the sight of Warpath's aim coming on him, and he dove to the side to just narrowly avoid a shell wizzing past. Sledge grumbled through the cornstalks in his face (being a Micromaster, the terrain was a significant impediment to him), pushed himself to his feet, and strafed while returning fire at Warpath with his pistol.
Stonecruncher decided he'd needed a challenge, and the one shouting all the orders seemed to do. The brawny Micromaster dashed through the field and dove when he came into range, piercing Guzzle's firewall and rocketing toward Trailbreaker.
"Drive off this!" he shouted as his hefty little frame flew.
Excavator grinned up at Wingspan and joined him in firing his pistol up at Devcon. "Yeah," he added gingerly. "Who knows what kind of secrets are in there? We can't let them take it."
Grit had been hanging back until Guzzle's shells impacted just behind him, and he stumbled forward with a growl. The maneuver succeeded in drawing him closer to Guzzle; sighting the bombardier, Grit fired a few rounds from his blaster at the tank.

Jazz forwarded Overdrive's frequency to Aero Blade with a nod to Getaway.
"Sure. Overdrive planted these tracking devices last time he was here, an' Aero's riggin' 'em ta feed inta Metrotitan, dig? I reckon we can set this somewhere and jus' wait for the cavalry ta show."

Antarctica: Combat Zone
Metrotitan's external cannons continued to blast away at Countdown's shuttle and Omega Supreme with little effect and little note of the newcomers.
"All right," Countdown told Seaspray after transforming at the mouth of Brawn's tunnel. "This is the entry point. Follow this in and you'll find the others. You're on your own from here until you find them - Astra and I have orders to hang back and provide backup. Good luck."

Metrotitan: Ammo Storage
Inside the chamber, Metrodash peeked around the side of a blast door when the Metrodrones fired at the encroaching Stepper and Brawn. He ducked back behind his cover and waited, slipping his pistol under his arm in favor of a pair of grenades that would wait for the right moment. A broad grin spread under his faceplate. He'd been waiting for this!

Metrotitan: Command Deck
Metrobomb continued smashing controls, shouting orders, and running about the bridge like a lunatic trying to most effectively coordinate the Metrodrone squads. Metrotank wasn't answering his hails, Metrodash had spotted intruders in the armory, and Metrotitan was now having difficulty shooting down the distractions thanks to his hardheadedness. It wasn't a good day at the office.

Trailbreaker spun and stumbled away from Guzzle to avoid further damage from 'friendly fire'. He turned back toward the pod just in time to get hit from behind by Stonecruncher. The force of the hit knocked Trailbreaker forward, but he threw himself sideways toward the pod- in an attempt to knock the micromaster off of him. He was so taken off-guard by the hit that he couldn't think of a thing to say while he focused on using the power of the hit to defend himself.

Getaway nodded to Jazz.
"Good to hear," he said vaguely, only half-listening to the special-ops specialist's explanation. He cast one more glance around the room, then turned to look at Aero Blade.
"Can you do your work on the run? If we stay here for too long, the enemy will get blockades set up, and we'll be boxed in."

"Done," Aero Blade said, just as Getaway started to speak. He passed the device back to Jazz, putting his tools away. "All you need to do is activate it when you're ready to use it."

Antarctica: Ice Tunnel
Seaspray transformed for the sole purpose to wave goodbye to his commarades, Countdown and Astra. He quickly transformed back to hovercraft mode and proceeded to make his way Brawn's makeshift tunnel.
The minibot thundered (relatively speaking) down the icy corridor with his mind focused solely on the immanent battle, eradicating the embarrassing thoughts of his frozen slumber.

"Fight back of course" Devcon replied calmly over his comm-link on hearing Groundshaker's question, then the bounty hunter swooped down, targeting Wingspan and returning fire as he did so.

Having transformed to hitch a ride, Astra found herself struggling to follow Countdown as he took off without her, and would have scowled if she had been in robot mode at that moment in time as she opened a comm-link to the other Autobot "You know this place isn't easy going for a motorbike"

"So now I'm asking more of you than I have before. Maybe all. Sure as I know anything, I know this, they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, ten? They'll swing back to the belief that they can make people better. And I do not hold to that. So no more runnin'. I aim to misbehave" - Captain Mal Reynolds

An official governmental car escorted by four police bikes departed the Congrés, moving into the streets.
" Here we go ", said Crosscut to Sizzle and Wreck-Gar, using his encrypted radio frequency.
The Ambassador carefully started to follow the delegation.
(OOC: Ey, we need Mods to play the Minister and Company, please! )

Whirl grabbed one Metrodrone in each claw and slammed their heads together, then dropped the insensate foes to the floor.
"They'd better," he told Roadbuster. "This is hardly any fun at all..."

Two voices softly exchanged words. One was low, smooth and commanding, while the other spoke with the precise mechanical tones of an Alpha Metrodrone.
"Smoke bombs?"
"Check."
"Snipers?"
"Check."
"Forcefields?"
"Check."
"Motion sensors?"
"Check."
"Then we're good to go?"
"Affirmative, Krunix."
"Good."

Guzzle had attempted evasive action when Grit had begun firing at him, but found his team mates to close to retreat and continue fring: grits blasts all found impacts on his armour. As he continued sheling, he had tried to aim his flame exhaust at the diminutive decepticon, but Cindersaur had charged into his side with great force. dizzied and shaken, Guzzle took the only course that he could think of, and charged forward at Grit, his flame exhaust belching fire, rotatin his cannon to face the sparklercon.
(OOC Guzzle is still facing away from the pod whilst his turret is aimed at it: effectively, he is reversing at grit, whilst the turret is swinging to his front)
Quebec
Sizzle followed Crosscut closely, maintaining an uncharicteristic silence.

Grit stopped in his tracks and dove to the side to avoid Guzzle's abrupt charge. He fell face-first into the mud at the base of the cornstalks a few feet away and stifled a grumble while he waited for the tank to pass, hoping Guzzle would not be able to spot him among the tall flora.
Excavator took a stray bolt from Devcon's blasts and skittered onto his back with a yelp. He quickly rolled onto his stomach and scrambled to get to his feet.
Stonecruncher rolled off Trailbreaker as the larger Autobot stumbled, bouncing along the ground until he came to a stop on one knee near the pod. Before he could get up to retaliate, Stonecruncher's optics went wide when he heard Excavator's characteristic shout across the field.
"X!" Stonecruncher cried, but he found Trailbreaker between himself and his partner. His optic-band narrowed at the Autobot. "Outta my way, guzzler!"
Stonecruncher launched himself from his knee and dashed forward with the intent of getting Trailbreaker out of his way if the Autobot wouldn't let him pass.

Jazz took the device between his fingers, flipped it like a coin, and snatched it from the air in his palm.
"Rock'n'roll," he replied to Aero Blade while pushing himself up. "Okay gang, let's scram before our hosts get wise!"
Jazz rolled around the crates and jogged off for the door leading into the fortress proper.

Metrotitan: Ammo Storage
Metrodash had listened cautiously and patiently, but he hadn't been able to figure out how many intruders were outside. It didn't matter - he could tell at least one had entered the storage bay. That would be enough. Metrodash depressed the priming buttons on the two grenades simultaneously. He lobbed the one in his left hand around the corner of the open blast door, tossed the one in his right over to the left, and sent it in after the first before spinning away and ducking in the corner.

Metrobomb watched the monitors with mounting dismay and his foot tapping against the floor nervously.
"Do you mind?" the console growled. "I'm trying to concentrate."
Metrobomb paid no mind to the city's moanings. He had a decision to make, and although he didn't like it, he had no choice. The Micromaster began tapping buttons frantically while glancing now and again to the monitors showing the encroaching Wreckers...

Aero Blade did his best to follow and keep close to Jazz. He wanted to keep near the vetran warrior, given his current unspoken condition and his own unfamiliarity with the area they were invading.

"Don't think so pipsqueak!"
Trailbreaker's specialty lay in defense, and instinctively, he knew that a damaged Decepticon team member meant one of the Autobots had gotten an upper hand. He wasn't about to let a reinforcement run right past him. Turning about to face the approaching Decepticon, he slid sideways and attempted to give a very solid kick with his right leg to the charging micromaster.

Getaway followed after Jazz, moving with less style than the slick special ops specialist. Instead, the Autobot escape artist moved with deliberate, efficient grace that mirrored his persona.

Whirl moved down the city's central corridor alongside Roadbuster and Hardhead, and noted that the parade of Metrodrone cannon fodder had seemingly stopped. A few dozen metres down, he saw that the corridor widened out into an atrium of some sort.
"I don't like the looks of this," he told his teammates. "Methinks someone is trying to get the drop on us."
