Skyfall had just put the Omega Shuttle down on the landing pad and connected the Energon power cable to it when the internal comm on the shuttle went off. He knew the Ark's comm still wasn't working so he answered it:

"This is Skyfall at the Ark? Who is this?"

Skyhammer helped Astra steer Jazz to the Medbay. Simultaneously he downloaded the data he had obtained from the Decepticon Shuttle to the Ark's computers , and opened a com link to Blaster sending the same information to the main autobot force.

"Jazz there you go some intelligence for you to play with when your better "

Skyhammer opened a com link to Springer

" Springer during the battle I managed to down load the Decepticon shuttle's computer core , would you like a copy as a leaving present ? Whose the intelligence specialist in your force? I'll send them a copy ."

Skyfall sighed a little. They had been attacked by the Mayhems, the Ark almost sank, Roadbuster left with the Wreckers, and now another wounded Autobot was about to land on his doorstep. At least this one was from closer to his own time though maybe not the same reality.

The big problem was their comms were still out at the base, and no word if Autobase had been attacked either. He needed to repair the base and prepair for their next mission. But he also wanted to know what the Autobots situation was.

He walked out of the War Room and headed for the main entrance, opening his comm on the way:

"Skyhammer, Warpath: Meet me at the Main Entrance, I have a mission for you."

He then linked with the Omega's communications equipment:

"Greatshot, This is Skyfall - You're clear to land at the Ark for the time being. We have Plenty of energon, just mind the mess."

Skyfall then walked to the Main Entrance and waited. The Damage was pretty bad, but it was all superficial, except the power line to the Main Entrance way that Sixswitch had cut. And Countdown's base needed to be moved. Other than that - just minor repairs......

Springer replied to Skyhammer.

"Can it."

Springer transformed to his car mode and tore after Roadbuster

"Hey buddy, sorry about leaving you with those guys, but I needed to get Whirl back onside, I hope you understand."

After a short while Springer radioed Whirl

"Looks like we're headed out east, you got somewhere in mind?"

Skyhammer responded to Skyfall's hail .

"roger that "

He finished helping Jazz to the medbay and made his way to the main entrance. As he did so Springer 's com came through.

hmmm he mused Decepticon Shuttle comp core its bound to have some information on decepticon bases at least a partial list . Hubris is a terrible thing but if doesn't want the assistance not my problem

Greatshot: "Understood. On my way."

With that, Greatshot started a steep decline from orbit. As the air around him became super-heated, the large vessel nosed up and started speeding in the direction of the Ark.

Once there, Greatshot steered carefully past the rubble and into the entryway. He quickly transformed and set down, taking in his surroundings.

Whirl pirouetted in the air so that his cockpit was facing Springer while the blue helicopter flew backwards.

"Nah. We're heading east because the other direction takes us to the ocean, chief." He swung in the air a bit, giving the impression of a shrug. "There are a few abandoned Decepticon hideouts on the east coast, though. We might as well go poking around."

Sixswitch throttled back to match the speed of Whirl and Springer.
"Will these other bases have bugs too? I sure hope not," he grinned as he spun a barrel roll for the hell of it.
"It's good to stretch your legs now and again," he remarked idly. "Only thing I'm wondering. Will we have a working computer when we get there? Do we need one?"

Skyfall nodded to Skyhammer as he arrived, but before he could say something, they were interupted by Greatshot's arrival:

"Greatshot. You can head to medical, you can recharge and any damage can be taken care of by the CR chamber. I'll meet you there when I get a chance."

The Micro Master then turned back to Skyhammer:

"We're just waiting on Warpath. Did you have a chance to download the Decepticon information? I'd like Jazz to have a look at it."

Jazz shot Skyhammer a weak thumbs-up as the Pretender walked away. His optics floated to Astra softly, his tiny grin still permeating.

"Seriously, doc. D'ya think you could do up one o' those shells like 'Hammer has? It'd be real useful in my line of work, if ya know what I mean."

Without a word, Greatshot turned away from Skyfall and headed off into the rest of the base.

After what seemed like an eternity, he happened across the Med-bay. Hesitating for a moment, he walked through the doorway. Spying the two bots, he walked over and waited silently.

"If they've got bugs, they'll be the purple-badged types. Easy to squash." He chuckled. "Computer? Maybe. Not as if we'd need it, though..."

Skyhammer opened a com link to Jazz and patched his outer shells computer system through to him.

" Jazz I'm off on a mission Skyfall's cooked up for me but I thought I'd leave you a leaving present I've commed the specs of my shells to you as I remember you showed an interest , its not strictly a standard outfit , I've tweaked the repair systems over the years . Umm its been a bit of an obssesion , I had a malfunction once and i let my team down so I swore I'd never let it happen again. Anyway hope it helps . Next time the Con's come a knocking , you can level the playing field if you'd like. Till we meet again [BSkyhammer[/B] out."

Springer racked his memory banks and then twigged exactly where they'd been headed.

"Whirl, you really think the cons would've left that place open?"

Springer plotted a course for New Jersey to his systems, scanning for the location of Shockwave's abandoned base in the marshes.

Skyfall turned to Warpath and Skyhammer:

"The situation is this: We have no communication. I have no doubt that Autobase was attacked the same time we were, but I do not know their situations. Despite my grevances with Prime - I have some good friends there. I need you two to head over to Autobase and see what the situation is. Re-establish communications with the Autobots and see what support they need. Once we're up and running here, we'll see what we can do to help.

"Skyhammer - Take that data from the Decepticon shuttle to Blaster himself - he should be the best person to deal with it."

The Micro Master turned and looked at them both:

"Any Questions?"
