I just picked up the greatest hits package by Van Halen called "Best of Both Worlds" which has all the good stuff from both the Roth and Hagar eras, but the real standouts on this two disc set are the 3 new tracks recorded with Sammy:
It's About Time
Up For Breakfast
Learning To See
Sammy is sounding great, Michael Anthony is laying down some serious basswork, Alex Van Halen is grooving like his life depended on it, and the MASTER, Mr. Eddie Van Halen, has returned to show all these new flavor of the month bands how to really play a guitar.
Mega cool disc. Pick it up if you get a chance, regardless of what VH era you favor.

I will have to consider it.
VH is one of my fave bands of all time period. It was just a shame we lost about 6 years of great music due to their band leader issues and Eddie's health.
