This is such great news. Botcon is finally coming home to the West Coast! Woo Hoo! Now I can be a part of that history.

Good for you. Now I have the fun of trying to get across the freaking country to get to it. Joy

Does this mean they're getting rid of the OTFCC name?

Nope. Botcon in 2oo4 is the last Botcon. After that, it'll be that damn OTFCC

Also, note that there are no exclusive toys :( I imagine H & H are going for more of the content over toys concept. Hopefully, lots of people will show up though and convince them to continue and create two major TF conventions maybe at different times of the year :)

Apparently the two conventions are going to be working together to ensure that BotCon gets something official as a send-off perk, even if it isn't a toy... I think it was Glen who said that, on the OTFCC forums...

I suggest just watching the site for details...

On the note of exclusive stuff, I saw a post on ATT suggesting that they could buy a load of reissue Primes and get Peter Cullen to sign them... it'd be worth more to most fans than a repaint...

Too bad. I really was hoping that it would be somewhere on the east coast for a change. California is a bit far but you never know. I have a whole year to save up for it :) But still i hope that this is far from the last one named BotCon. That name just works so much better then that other non sensical one.

VIVA LA BOTCON!! wOOt

Hasn't really been on the east coast since then too (unless I'm missing something).

And if I somehow don't make it to this one, someone shoot me.

So it would be even more embarrassing for me if I don't go, being only 10 mins away from Pasadena.
