Oh, I know. I was actually going to say something along the lines of "I'm surprised he hasn't killed whomever it is he keeps singing about by now". But I do love Levine's voice and the pacing in the band's songs. And the singles are very catchy. This one- it sounds so lovely and upbeat, aaand then you listen to the lyrics.
Katy Perry- She's okay live. I've heard worse. I actually didn't realise just how highly polished and manufactured her image was until yesterday, though. It kind of made me a bit sad inside to realise that she was basically created.
This is my signature. My wasted space. My little corner. You can't have it. It's mine. I can write whatever I want. And I have!
I just right now watched the Katy Perry song. Not my cup of tea, but I do give her credit for actually going live. For whatever reason, I was thinking she was the playback type.
Now that I think about it, the somewhat upbeat Maroon 5 song "Wake Up Call" IS about murder. I heard it so many times, then finally paid attention to the lyrics and go "what the hell?"
1. Shakira was hot.
2. The song is insanely catchy and it makes me happy.
3. It amuses me to see Shakira writhing in and crawling through what looks like the waste left behind by the herd of horses in her video.
2:34, 2:41= what occasionally happens when you leave piles of manure out in intense heat.
I never claimed to be mature. In some aspects, maturity is boring, anyway.
edit: O_O
And I like the song, too.
EDIT: That early 00's kick: My DLed copy of "All The Things She Said" had an AIM door close sound effect on it. Eventually bought the album, but I can still hear that AIM door close sound effect in my head when I listen to this...
I didn't realise they had more than one English album till today.
This song. I WANT TO HUG IT.
