Owls

Why are Owls so ubiquitous , pretty much everywhere you go whichever country you go to you can buy some kind of souvenir owl. Why is this so ? Other animals aren't so well represented, you'd be hard pressed to buy a souvenir pigeon and surley they are more widespread.

The massive global popularity of Sheffield Wednesday FC?

EDIT: In the absence of the blatantly obviously SWFC related truth being an option, I voted for the Athena cult. I've always liked their poster of the tennis playing girl. ;)

*is an owl*

*preens, twists head in complete circle and stares at you with one eye closed*

These days around midnight, we have an owl stopping on the maple tree in the back yard whooo-ing loudly. Can't see which kind because it's too dark outside. I thought it was cool.

That's what the Owls want them to think though.

You can't fool owls.

Hahahah...

I went to a nature preserve over the summer and the owl house was the most fowl smelling exhibit in the entire place.

My aunt has a saying "they ain't worth two scoops of owl poop".

Good birds to keep field mice/rats away, but man they sure do smell bad.

Whoo whoo, whoo whoo...
