Oh yeh, I got engaged last week!

No, not to Ideon, he just handed over the ring on my behalf in an improvised proposal that also involved that song from Turn A Gundam. I was going to rope the cat into things, but she tried to eat the ring.

It seemed like a nice thing to do, but after remembering to call my mum yesterday and tell her, it turns out I've got to phone a whole ton of relatives and let them know, which feels a bit daft as the wedding is at least a year or so off. On the plus side, my best man has surgucaly enhanced breasts.

Now, go post threads about it on boards I don't visit.

Eh, I didn't. Although personally anything more is way more than year off (both got lots to do first) and is going to involve close circles only.

Is the third one the cat or the Ideon? I've got to tell people on orders of my mother... Though the people I've been given are old and senile, and my morals are rather flexible... I'm actually more nervous about telling my ex (the reason Sar's facebook status is set to engaged and I haven't responded; it's not how I want her to find out...).

And was that a stealth reveal or is my memory shit beyond words?

If I elope it'll be to bang hawt azn. chicks, not to get married...

Themes-wise, I'm pushing for Ideon (green hair for me, ginger perm for my best not-man, giant ancient death robot powered by the universe instead of a car to pick us up). Failing that, Revenge of the Fallen - just make everything explode, keep having guests appear and reappear without explanation, slice up any old people and wear them as armour, that sort of thing. Plus I could swear and Sar can change into a different fetish outfit every five minutes or so.

I'm pretty much resigned to receiving a court order banning me from having any role in planning things. Like that episode of the Simpsons. I am holding out for "Only You" as a wedding march, though.
