Credited by some as the "Father of the Electric Guitar", Paul was someone who has literally touched all our lives. Certainly his achievements in the field of electric amplification are well worth noting.

He also made a darned good guitar too.

And his technical contributions overshadow his own musicianship, which is notable in its own right.

I'm a guitar player. I certainly salute him tonight.

i'll miss him. he made a mean instrument, and i hope one day i'll be able to afford one too. my hat's off to you Sir Les Paul!
