edit : there's a "put" missing somewhere up there in the title.
simple question. I've got no whipped cream stuff in a can, only milk. So it's going to be a poor mans' irish anyway.
whaddya think ? waste ? or glory or bust ?

I can eat pure sugar and glucose without it being overpowering, but still find Coke more cloyingly sweet. I think it's the addition of citrus and acid.
Coke tar!
Doesn't seem odd - well, to me anyways. Some of the bars where I live serve various types of Irish Coffee cocktails. Warm or iced. I don't normally drink them though.would you jack daniels in an irish coffee ?

I wouldn't put Jack Daniels in anything. Its a sub-quality bourbon. Even if I drank bourbon, which I don't (single-malt scotch man), it would never be Jack.
Maybe its the acidic bite that coke has that you don't like.

flat coke is the best thing for the flu though, along with chicken soup.

... in coffee, so I'm drinking it neat as well.
I have done a few tests, and it would seem that cold coffee is a good mixer for JD, I assume this avoids wasteful evaporation of alcohol. I'm still not set on wether you can really taste the difference with a cheap brand in...from the same article
Coca-Cola did once contain an estimated nine milligrams of cocaine per glass but after 1903 Coca-Cola started using, instead of fresh leaves, "spent" leaves - the leftovers of the cocaine-extraction process with cocaine trace levels left over at a molecular level

JD is not bourbon
If you listen to the folks at Jack Daniels ... you'll note that JD is Tennessee whiskey. Although it has basically the same formula as bourbon ... 80% corn or whatever ... It is made in Tennessee, and it is charcoal filtered.
