Of course America will take the credit, "WE" always do
1. In the face of terrorism Bush never backed down:rolleyes:
2. Bush is obviously the worlds smartest man.
3.Not to mention our crack security officers who never leave a stone unturned. ( this is all tongue in cheek here, Bush is monkey)!
Those of you who live in the UK are more fortunate than you realize over there you can get real info as to where we Americans have to dig it up and it is not easy when the media who is supposed to be unbiased is actually the most biased . Seriously, EVERYTHING must be approved for viewing before it gets to us and they are even more reluctant to tell us anything big like this untilway after the fact "Could cause a panic" which it would because most of us are armchair generals who wouldn't know whatto do in the face of danger

Yes, I feel real fortunate that we have a PM to busy making retirement plans to give a toss about anything happening outside of the LA parties he's been to recently...
Wow, that is ultra disturbing. At least retirement is in his future plans. Word has leaked out of somewhere at pretty high level that Bush does not see himself stepping down anytime soon.

- In a time of war or immediate threat due to terrorist activities or propaganda the president shall retain executive duties.
It's deep in there.
I tried looking for it again, but this thing is almost 500 pages long with reallytiny writing every other paragraph, tonight I'll go through and see if I can post it in context for you.

The PM is Bush's poodle. It is a well known fact that, after some while, the pooch starts to look like it's owner and vickie-verkie. I anticipate that our would-be President really likes the idea of staying in power forever due to an extreme terrorist emergency... all he has to do is withhold information 'for the public good' and there you have it.
Not that I'm cynical, but Mr Blair did announce that he wants even more power over us Brits cos there are likely to be a terrorist problem up-coming, just the day before one happens. Bearing in mind that it is now known that Pakistan arrested 2 potential terrorists their end last week, which was communicated, obviously to the UK higher echleons then...

Is it just me, or is that eerily close to how Palpatine stayed in power?
