Megatron/Galvatron=Seperation anxiety

Post by exodus42 »

Who else thinks that the "evolution" from Megatron into Galvatron is starting to become redundant?

I personally would like to see him show up as a totally seperate character in a series. I know that by having Starscream Megs already has steady competition for leadership of the Decepticons, but imagine a Decepticon just as powerful , just as inelligent as Megatron, but extremely loyal to him as well?

As I remember it this how the comic approached it. They took the actual Bio from the box and went with it. It turned out to be great storytelling.

Being as Hasbro must frequently reuse the names in order to keep hold of trademark rights, it might be good avenue to take. Plus think that Galvatron and Megatron should look completely different(Toy $ale$).:smokin:

The comic Galvatron(s) were still future versions of Megatron, they were just plucked from the future/alternate dimensions. Therefore you were able to have both of them running about at the same time and (with the exception of the fair-game-for-repression Movie Adaptation), we never actually saw Megs turn into Galvy in real time.

Except in flashback twice. Once when the first Galvatron meet Megs for the first time in a UK Annual, once when the second (third? fourth?) Galvatron meet Megs for the first time in A Savage Circle.

Have you never read the comic?

They were flashbacks to events happening in real time... Same difference.

Don't make stuff up to cover inaccuracies in your posts that have been pointed out.

I win.
You lose.
And... uhm... Hawkeye no longer exists!

Canadians are like Cybermen, just to dull to kill.

Didn't seem to be an issue in Doomsday, or whatever generic title they gave the last one...

Still it would make for an interesting twist on the show rather than just keeping it in the comics. Honestly the comics appear to have more thought involved with thier storylines.
And Canadians don't bite, they drink beer.:smokin:

Yeah, but we only killed about 6. It gets really dull after a few hundred. Frankly, if you've zapped one you've zapped 50 million...

Crack cocain is actually cheaper than keeping up with Who merchendise.
