[RID,UT] Megatron and his little tank...

That's one thing I never really caught on to--did they ever explain why Megatron carries the little tank around? I understand it's supossed to represent his old body, but was there every any other explanation?

The impression I got was to "power-up" the Megatron sword... He got grouchy because the Omnibots cloned the sword and gave them to all of the Autobots to fight him with.

Seriously tho, I think it was just an excuse for them to tack on some sort of gun to his arm to give people a G1 Galvatron homage to drool over or something.
