Downshift?

Post by jepc71 »

So I see there is a review of Downshift already...but I haven't even seen him in stores! Checked out ebay...25 bucks? No way! Has anyone in the US seen him? And if so...what store or online webpage? As you may tell, I am a wheeljack fan :p

Nope. Haven't seen him.

But then, I haven't seen Arcee, Insecticon, Omega Supreme, Alternator Silverstreak, Alternator Hound, and a couple hundred others that are supposed to be out.

well, I've seen a grand total of one (1) Downshift on the shelves over here in Australia, but didn't have the $$$ to buy him at the time.. Since then I haven't been able to find him anywhere, did get Towline tho... I hear slugslinger & sharkticon's been sighted in some places over here, which means that's 3 Deluxe figs I have to find now :/

Again gotta love Hasbro and how they set out their goods.

I did see a PL Omega though so I have my hopes up now.

Yeah, Hasbro sucks when it comes to distributing product.

Annoyingly, today I goto Kmart and they have Deluxes in the PL packaging. Just nobody I wanted 2 demolishers, a prowl, a rodimus, a snow cat and a starscream. I think I missed the ones I wanted.

your part of the woods? PFT... that's actually ironic, considering Troy Michigan is the corporation's HQ... truly pathetic. But I'm not gonna go on and on about my employer, not to mention the inadequecies due to big-wigs... not when there's a chance said corporate big-wigs may be getting thinned out. heheheh

F*ck you.

I still haven't seen diddily-squat in my area other than Omega Supreme and Wave 2 of Energon back in f*cking February. Of course on the lines that I'm willing to throw my money at Hasbro (ie - all three lines that are out right now), I can't find anything.

Much the same story here. A ShopKo I was at recently had one each of Bulkhead and Mirage, but I think they mostly had Energon wave 1 and some Universe stuff. However, the Wal-Mart supercenter that is my primary source of TFs (since it's the store I go to most often) has yet to put out a piece of Energon wave 2.

They do, however, have at least some of the newer Alternators (one each of Silverstreak, Dead End, and Hound was out), which perhaps is a sign that wave 2 isn't far away. Furthermore, their stock of the wave 1 deluxes and below is starting to run down. The shelves still hold several of Unicron (the Armada-boxed-as-Energon one), Megatron, Scorponok, Jetfire, Landmine, Optimus, and Ironhide (of whom they have about 16!).
