It's just the mouthpiece of his helmet.

Last year I made a Mr. Game and Watch one. This year, I might go for Meta Knight.

I just won $10 at our community pumpkin decorating contest. They were on display in the library so they couldn't be carved or hollowed out (to avoid rotting and infestation), I used a woodburner to put the decoration in. It came out pretty nice.

The woodburner cost me $10, so it worked out very nicely. :)
Our family will be carving our personal pumpkins today. No amazing ideas yet, but our son wants to make a Batman symbol kind of design.

hey, that works real nice! Good idea... I wonder if a soldering iron would work at a pinch.

Can't quite figure out what's on the back, are those roman numerals?

Yep. 95 of them. They didn't photgraph too well.
And yes, in a pinch, a soldering gun will work. In fact, that was my first attempt on the practice gourd. Mine has a pistol grip, so it was a bit cumbersome. The woodburner is much hotter and has better tips than just a needle end. Both, however, give that disturbing smell of smoked squash. :)

Have a happy and blessed Samhain!

It's cold enough here in the UK for brass monkeys to look worried, so wrap up warm if you're Trick-or-Treating.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samhain for those out there who don't know much about it.

Yay! It's bonfire time!
I should have listed my religion as Neopagan at the University so I could have today off as a holiday.

Plans? Pranks? Costumes? Pumpkins? Favorite Movies? Post it all here...if you are dressing up, partying, carving pumpkins or doing a super cool job decorating the house, take some pics and post them for all to share...especially me as I'm under the weather once again and will be staying in this year.

All I did this year was my party (Went GREAT btw) and carved a few pumpkins (Mr. Game and Watch, Animated BB's face and Venom). Very fun, especially when everyone put fireworks in the pumpkins. Heh. Venom got his Movie Fate after all (No spoiler tags. The movie has been out for over a ****ing year.)

I hope you feel better soon.

I've got an All Saints Day mass tonight, then I'm going to the mall to see if I can pick up a GI Joe figure for my friend who's looking for that one (Buzzer. At one point there were tons of that guy at the mall), and then I'm going home to watch horror movies and open the BBTS package that came in last night. By the time I got home I had to go to sleep since I had to wake up for work today.

Watched the end of Dead Set, watched up to Tooms in the X-Files first series, a lil bit of comedy, and washed it all down with beer. Next one may well be a Hobgoblin, as Im on Wychcraft at the mo.
