Well, since people are bringing it up without telling him how to do it, you can do it by hitting the quote button, cutting the quote, going back to the thread, hitting the edit button on your initial post, and pasting it.

Or you can cut and paste into a word file until you've got all that you want to quote if you don't have a post.
