The motorcycle bots are really starting to annoy the piss out of me.

So...Deluxe Chromia matches the blue cycle and robot from the movie. Deluxe Arcee matches the red/pink cycle and robot from the movie. Human alliance Arcee is pink, but matches the blue cycle and robot from the movie. But HA Chromia is blue, but matches the pink cycle and robot from the movie.

And just for kicks...the Robot Heroes Chromia, while blue, is actually the purple cycle-bot from the movie.

It's like they don't even care.

TF2 has been really sloppy, imo.

According to Hasbro, HA Arcee is supposed to match Mikaela's red motorcycle from the movie.

And the robot's head doesn't match anything.

It seems to me (just from looking at pictures) that HA Mudflap and HA Skids have been some of the best representations of the movie characters in this whole HA line. The HA Bumblebee figure didn't quite capture it, Sideswipe looked worse, and Barricade looked pretty close. Why did they get the representation so right on the worst two characters from the film?

I don't think Skids is correct. Judging by his CGI mode, he does not have the doors flopping up like wings as Mudflap does. Skids deluxe class is more accurate at this point. I think HA Bumblebee is somewhat close too if not those stupid cannot-fold-down chairs screwing up.

That's correct. HA Mudflap is okay, but Skidz is no where near correct.

Mudflap seems to have lost that backpack, but I've got very used to the "door antennae" on the Deluxe. Personally I think their HA designs have come out so well just because there's a little bit too much going on with the CG models for the smallish Deluxe figures - just about everything from the bonnet back (aside from the doors) basically disappears on the twins, and there's only limited space on a Deluxe to fold away. TBH, the bigger a figure gets the better it should be when we're talking about these complicated designs, so rather than wodnering why the Twins came out so well the questions should be why Sideswipe looks so dreadful and why there's still a Cybertron-lazy chest on Barricade.

Fair enough.

And they might actually be the right size too...Hell, most of the legends class people would be right around the right size...

it (legends devastator) is already out in the UK as of the new Argos catalogue.

Argos exclusive though, and good luck finding one, as they only seem to have stocked one or two per store and they went straight away. No clue on when/if it will re-stock, so can't even reserve one. Bit miffed.

This has been posted in the Power Core Combiners thread, but since it contains ROTF information I figured I'd post it here.

http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... ore/17753/

UK Toyfair. ROTF related stuff would be Battle Ops Bumblebee, the previously called 'Leader Class Bumblebee' a figure with a price point between Leader and Supreme class.

Also present is a Voyager class Seaspray (the tank-ferrying hovercrafts in the movie) as well as a Deluxe Class Ironhide.

And new RPMs were mentioned in the article but not seen.

About the only thing good about that statement is that we'll be able to call it Bob for short.

wow, this is a really long thread.

ahem, so when are they going to make a toy of the pretender from the movie?

I'm interested in seeing a better picture of Bruticus and Seaspray.
