People used to say Animated's transformers looked like people in costumes. I disagree, but this is the one case where those people are right for once. To me, this "Sideswipe" doesn't look like a transformer at all. Bayformers look more like transformers than...that thing.

I have it on very good authority that Sideswipe is just a made-for-the-comic design. Even Hasbro's designers aren't really impressed.
