I wonder where these fit in? Some sort of 'preview' type release? Would seem a bit lax to just use repaints to hype up another film, though...
Megs colours are very interesting indeed. The ice has come out looking very fire like in orange...

Unlikely, considering the source.

I expect these guys to know the difference between "leaked" (read: stolen) factory samples and knockoffs.
Seeing how the above link also shows Deluxe Boencrusher and FInal Battle Jazz, the theory is that those will be Voyager/Deluxe two-packs.

Ah, OK. Factory samples makes sense.
It's just that in my experience low grade grey plastic can have a yellowish tinge to it, leading me to guess that Op (and by extension Megs too) was a cheap KO.
I take it we might be looking at some rather grisly death scene two-packs then (Op vs. Bonecrusher, Megs vs. poor ol' Jazz).
"What's crackin', little bitches? Oh. That's my torso being split asunder by Megatron. Damn."

Might the mystery stock codes in the Hasbro system that you found a couple of weeks back be for these packs?
I cant find the thread now.

I don't recall any entries for "movie" toys.

Very weird. Of course, not as weird as the Movie Voyagers that suddenly appeared after my local Wal-Mart switched the location of the Transformers section...It used to be crammed in with Batman, Ironman, wrestling, and other Marvel stuffs, but now they occupy a good half of one side of the aisle where the Power Rangers and Ben 10 stuff used to be. And with the movement came more Transformers, I guess...

Yeah, my wal-mart took all movie figures off the shelves when the universe and Animated toys came, but just recently started putting them back out again.
Anyways I dont see any point to either redeco...

What "WTF"?
As I said, it seems likely that these are going to be some sort of "Battle to the death" two-packs.
Megatron vs. Jazz, Optimus vs. Bonecrusher.

Hmmm . . . next time I'm at TRU and/or Walmart I'll have to see if they still have First Strike Prime in stock. Would love to get my hands on that mold.

If they don't, Walmart has him available through Site to Store on their website for regular price.

BATTLE OVER MISSION CITY: FINAL BATLE JAZZ VS MEGATRON
They're Target exclusive battle packs and part of the original movie line, not the sequel line.

The Bonecrusher figures kind of suck. They could be awesome if they were properly proportioned, but they're junk as that small size. There should be a leader class Bonecrusher, or at least Voyager class.

Out in Singapore.
(Well, they're no Target exclusives in Singapore, but they will be when they come out in the USA.)

Next to Prime, Bonecrusher just looks...sad. I've never opened mine, but I'm content with how awesome he looks as a vehicle that I'd never be tempted to switch him to good ol' Monkey Arms robot mode anyway.
