I'm actually excited to see this deluge of repaints on a lot of TFs I never got a chance to get years ago. I'm really hoping (even though it's probably unlikely) that they will repaint/reissue Energon Shockblast so I can finally have Shockwave as part of my Classics collection! :D

RID Scourge wrote:Though sadly the worst hand comes from my favorite jet mold (Treadbolt).

Overall the combined modes are great, and the individual robots are awesome (The only exception being the crane. I managed to snag an extra of Treadbolt, the orange helicopter fellow and the light green tank fellow, as well as an extra Barricade. I was tempted to pick up an extra bulldozer and an A-10, but I never got around to it . . .). So it'd be a crime to exclusively play with them in gestalt mode like I used to do with my G1 combiners when I was younger. I really need to dig these guys outta the garage.
It's goddamn Treadshot! And i should know...

Yeah, the crane is a letdown. I think you mean you have an extra treadshot, stormcloud, and kickback? Lucky.

Me want redeco. Me think it worth it just for more jets.

Is that a dollar sign on the side of the brown one? At least they're being honest about it.

Swindle and Vortex, from the looks of it.

Makes me wonder what they'll do about Blast Off, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they just repainted Astrotrain and somehow do away with the train mode... although we can hope for better. (i.e. a less lazy Hasbro)

I thought that as well. Just a bit too big, though.

So it's a torso and 2 pairs of the same toy? That kind of sucks. I already have the good uni ultra Onslaught. I'll have to pass on the energon gestalt.
That blue ball is a Bakugan, my nephew has a bunch of those.

My only complaint: why no hands. His art has fists. I do hope they include an extra set of fists, hands, or whatever, or I will have to salvage hands from either Optimal Optimus or a Unicron from Ebay....

Yeah, that was a strange one. (Admittedly, my only solution was to bring in the A-10 mold from Superion.. and that still doesn't work).

And why make Swindle a 'copter instead of just the tan tank? Strangeness...

I'm guessing it's because they wanted to use pre-existing molds and they said "Hey lets name the extra tank after blastoff since he has "blast" in his name."

Though it would be cool if they made new limbs and hands for a future release. I've got the Energon version so I'll just use that one for my classics Bruticus.

Hopefully these won't be exclusives not available in Canada, as I'd like to get those if they come out as a set.
Got a complaint?

I will probably have to pass on these ones. I already have Universe Onslaught, and I also have movie Brawl. No need to double up.
