Aw no. The humans? And Spike Witwicky surrounded by hot nurses!

But anyway, this is the last issue of AHM! Yays!

So, has Spike had extensive plastic surgery to look completely different? And sexual harassment in the work place is always fun.

Geez. Three ridiculously attractive nurses in outfits that only exist in costume shops comforting a main character who comes across as an a$$ in just a few pages. If this story takes itself even remotely seriously, I'm going to laugh. Or cry. I don't know yet.

I'd say that it's perfectly in style with AHM's childish and naive approach (I was going to say McCarthy's, but it seems to me that he were just working at someone else's request). Embarassing beyond words.

Not too impressed with the preview. I'm hoping this story is deliberately being tongue-in-cheek, cause if it's serious it's not working at all.

Looks quite terrible doesnt it?

I realise that many hated AHM but at least it (somewhat) continued issue to issue. I'm really not sure these last 4 issues of the coda will have any real impact on the new ongoing. At least Kup and starscreams were entertaining (Kup being outstanding) but the rest have been pointless. This doesnt look like changing at all for the final issue. Finges crossed that Bumblebees story is decent.

Guido's humans are terrible. Especially the cloned bimbo nurses.

Do IDW have some sort of Producers-esque scheme in place that requires them to shoot themselves in the foot on a regular basis?

I do wonder do they have a mandatory amount of full page panels that have to go in every issue? The amount of space that is wasted in nearly every issue is unreal. When used right a large splash panel can add drama to a comic, but IDW use it for just about anything.

(of course, this may just be me...)

Bloody hell, they've got Matt Smith drawing the Doctor Who comic.

Thrust? What the hell? Wasn't he last seen hanging out with Darkwing and Dreadwind? Can't they have, say, Dropshot or not-Octane being discovered, for sake of continuity?

Oh, wait. This is AHM.

Oh, wait. This is AHM.
This is also a year after Stormbringer, so the notion that their Infiltration team having been integrated back into the main army and involved in the attack on Earth is perfectly acceptable.

In fact, I'm thoroughly in favour of anything that indicates that there were actually other Decepticons running around off-panel in AHM. Being as, well, it makes sense. Otherwise we're in the situation where "these twelve specific Decepticons conquered the entire planet simply by attacking one street in New York."

Yes, and continuously stating that the important things were happening elsewhere.

Yep. It's nice to have tangible proof that there were actually other Decepticons on the planet.

When you put it that way... it makes sense, actually.
