They'd never get Sunrise to let them have the rights to Ideon's likeness...
Besides which, I don't wear a gay stereotype vest.

I love how continuity is optional, even in-continuity...

I just don't understand how any continuity can be deemed "standard".
Is Animated the current standard? Or the Universe tech specs? Beast Wars and its IDW comics? IDW's G1 stuff? The movie?
There are people out there who would burn you at the stake for suggesting that the default continuity is anything other than the Sunbow Advertising Campaign.
Damn strange term to use. Which fiction is the TF equivalent of Earth-616? In theory, it should be the weird non-fiction present in the tech specs for the original toys... shouldn't it?

I believe Actual Real TF Continuity is that picture book for the quasi-literate DK put out.

Perhaps the issue is going to be Cliffy's tech spec with added padding?

Here's the alternate cover and also the hi-res image of the original cover. Both taken from
Ryall's blog.

I've stuck these together as the info came about at roughly the same time.
Liking the Metroplex art and the CC Cybertronian mode cover.

Spotlight Metroplex... that's not being written by Sean Glut, is it? Is any appearance by Sixshot (I've learned to realise cover art has very little to do wih what might be happening inside...) going to actually take account of his role in the Dead Furmanverse? Or is this going to be following on from Rebirth?

Throttlebots yay!

Same robot mode configuration in both, isn't it?
[EDIT @ Cliffy] You're assuming the cover will have any relation to what's inside...

Yeah, but I'm more sure it's not an Earth mode in the second pic. Could still be wrong.

Not to the same degree as the others. Plus he's still Bumblebee in AHM.
Tangentially, if the AHM Coda stories are set between Maximum Dinobots and All Hail... is it still a coda?

Not really, no. If anything it'd be the coda for Maximum Dinobots or the prelude for AHM.

Shane McCarthy is poor grasp of story structure shock.
As for Goldbug, it could be they're going to do a Cyclonus and have him be a seperate character to Bumblebee.

Though, to be fair, Cyclonus has always been a separate character to Bumblebee...
