Knightmare

**** it, I'm putting it in this forum rather than GD even if it doesn't quite fit. And consider this an another vote for either making this a general "geek out" forum (which would more or less kill General Discussion) or merging the two.

The chap that did the memorable design stuff for Knightmare did a crowd-funding campaign to do a book of it not so long ago, which I never found out about. As luck would have it, owing to multiple **** ups by the printer, there are some spares on general sale (and by **** up the quality's fine, the edges have just been guillotined fractionally more closely than intended).

Same guy did covers for various early home computer games.

Ooh, loved his stuff. I never knew he did the covers for Populous, Speedball and Flood!

The first bit of his artwork I ever had was Star Wars on the Commodore 64; he did an awesome cover for it. I never knew Knightmare featured his work too.

That Dragon screen from Knightmare where the kid had to walk across his snout to get to the other doorway is the epitome of that show for me. So cool :)

Assume most people have seen the 30th episode and earlier documentary? Isy Suttie has the same reaction most people would to acting with Hugo Myatt as Treguard...

And this is highly recommended if it shows near you -- https://www.knightmarelive.com/
